It looks more like a cheap Mexican diner rather than a gym.
You get what you pay for, and this place is cheap (by SF standards ($40/month)), and so you get a disgusting, small and pathetic gym in return. Highlights include:
-Machines that are constantly broken and sitting unfixed for days and weeks at a time.
-Serious filth-- caked on dried sweat and dust on equipment that is rarely cleaned-- perhaps monthly if I'd have to guess.
-No towel service (which makes for even filthier conditions, see above).
This is a horrible gym, no question about it. But SF seems to be a "gym desert" in most parts so it's your only option for Noe Valley. Enter with caution and be sure to disinfect upon departure.
There are so many problems with this gym and yet I still go because it's close by. The gym is tiny, and packed. There is no air circulation, has no regular tredmills, and the equipment is old. Again the only nice thing is the location and that the people are friendly.

Limited equipment and weights only okay for a quick workout with small weights. However very accessible by walking and public transportation.

I like this place. Since it's small, I'm in and out quickly. Since there's a prioritized circuit, I don't have to plan what to do. I just do the circuit. Lockers. Clean bathrooms. I don't want a lot of options, just the circuit. If I need more options, I'll visit another 24 Hour Fitness.
Some crazy lady sings and dances there and the staff just lets her keep doing it. Makes working out annoying
They lied to me about membership prices.
I got a free 3 day trial membership. The employee who gave me the trial membership asked me to come back to this location so he could give me a special membership deal. I came back to the space 3 times trying to catch him. When I finally did, he pretended like he could not remember offering me a deal and tried charging me full price.
It's my little secret, I secretly love this little gym. It's all locals, you can usually find parking pretty close, and they occasionally clean it. For the price I pay, I won't complain.
