The owner, Jamie, fired a few coaches & then couldn't keep up with the amount of classes he offered. Instead of changing the schedule or notifying his regular clients of the problem(s), he just substitutes whoever and whatever he wants. Go in for a cross fit workout, end up with a full class of Olympic lifting technique. For crying out loud, I didn't sign up for a barbell club for a reason. As he is the owner, this is his prerogative; however, if you're looking for a gym that cares about it's clients & delivers what it advertises, don't waste your money here. Additionally, do not expect to receive high quality coaching from Jamie as he has a clear agenda to only coach those who may compete in future.
The gym floor is disgusting and probably hasn't been cleaned in months. There aren't enough plates, weights, or barbells for the size of the classes. You'll end up lifting much heavier weight than you can safely handle or have to modify so often that progress is glacial slow.
However, the other customers are great and there is a wonderful team environment among them during workouts (if you ever get a workout).
