Great gym for those of us not interested in taking classes. Mornings and weekends are the best times to go if you are trying to avoid crowds. $20 a month and you can bring guests and use their massage chairs/beds.

First time visiting a Planet Fitness and have no desire to go back. Free weight selection is minimal, no free weight benches or squat racks, only Smith machines. Most of the equipment is taken up by people on their cell phones. I will find another place to workout when in Sacramento.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The other members were friendly and helped me find my way around as it was my first time at this gym. I would have gave five stars however the lighting system for the 30 minute circuit zone is broken as soon as that is fixed my stars will reflect it.

I went here with a friend and the receptionist at the time was very welcoming. Even made us laugh with a few of his jokes. The equipment was available (we went pretty late) and the place was surprisingly spotless.

It's been about twelve years since I was a member, I really enjoy all their locations. Great place to do a little 15-minute walk anywhere in town. My blood sugar was 89 this evening, after 30 minute workout!

I'm very disappointed that I have been to many planet fitness, and the most important place in this building is the restrooms.
I have been In Management many times, and doing a walk through when you have clients coming in and out " it's very important.
I would appreciate next time I'm here it looks a whole lot better.

Amazing gym. Perfect for those who are shy who want to work out. Judgment free zone, just as their signs inside say! The perfect place for you and/or a friend to workout.

Not frills workout space. Some of the machines need repair or don't work on all modes but overall the working man's and woman's gym. The upgrade, called the Black package, seems to be worth it to me. Can bring guests and some massage chairs make it worth while.

They supply a lot of equipments needed in order for one to become physically fit all around. The cool thing about it is that its not very expensive ($10/month for regular membership) they have 4 stalls of showers with a decent amount of lockers for members. It also is helpful knowing that if you upgrade your membership to black, you get to try out the relaxation rooms.

I'm going to enjoy this membership. I have the Black card. That i have access to All the things involved within the fitness club and i can take a friend every time i go for free.

Management there is bad. Called enough about broken equipt..I thought I should get a month back. I didn't. I got membership revoke right after they took another month. Corporate WONT help you because it is franchise. They expect you tonget fees back from the place that screwed you. Don't go HERE!

Horrible gym no one here respects other people I think it's got a high percentage of gay male members that hangout in the locker room and walking to shower area and back. Most times speaking in another language. Also poor staff and management. I've only seen one person who actually works when clocked in that being the lady who cleans the locker room. Handicapped changing room was missing door for 2 months. One guy at front desk always has his girlfriend there making out. It is a very judgemenal gym dictating your workout.

Can't beat the monthly price,but it's a cool gym... but it has its disadvantages like,the classes aren't organized,if I'm in a spot,the class will be in my area,kinda rude and distracting,the fitness center might need to think about building a room for classes! Not alot of room!

Been going here for a year. Major reason I signed up for this gym was because it was cheap ($10 for standard membership, $20 if you want access to all locations, tanning, and I think a discount on drinks) and also because it was close to where I lived at the time.
It has all the machines you'd need, plenty of cardio machines, and free weights. One thing I wish it had is a couple benchpress/squat bars that weren't smith machines.
They serve pizza on Friday and bagels on Monday which always seems counter productive but some people enjoy the perk.
I also wish they had a location in near North Sac.
Overall it has all the amenities I need for my workout.

I am a member at planet fitness, and for 20 bucks a month you have access to their gym, relaxation room, and other planet finesses

Great place to go to avoid those bodybuilders; open to all shapes and sizes. Great time to work out is early in the morning when there are less people. Not the typical place where you see people hanging out in large groups; get in, work out, and leave. Staff is friendly. They offer free bagels and pizzas on certain days and times.

Manager was wonderful but first day being a member here and my friends car that I rode in was broken into and our things where stolen! Thank you to the manager for being so helpful but DO NOT keep anything valuable on you here period! Not in the lockers, not in your car... nothing is safe here. Just trying to educate anyone of the area your going into at this location.
