After being involved in a car accident last year that left me with injuries to my back, hip, and tailbone, among other areas, I was struggling to get back into shape. I tried different types of physical activity, all which left me sore and in pain.
I heard about CrossFit Genesis through a friend and decided to talk to the owner to see if it would be beneficial for me. He took time to learn about my personal situation and explained why he thought this program would work for me.
It started with the Fundamental classes, which included one on one training with a knowledgeable coach. My coach was easily able to determine the main source of my back pain and worked with me to strengthen my core and teach me the proper execution of CrossFit movements. I was able to not only exercise without pain, but experienced a significant decrease in pain during my day to day activities.
The members of this community are so supportive and welcoming, and all of the coaches make an effort to get to know you and ensure you are safely completing the workouts at a level that is modified for your current abilities.
I have made so much progress in the few months since I joined, it is truly life changing!
