Let me start by saying the instructor Maite is the best thing about this otherwise bleak studio.
I went to a few sample classes before deciding to pay for a monthly subscription, which was the cheapest I'd ever come across. Despite the dungeon like atmosphere ( black walls and ceilings) and filthy, worn out floors I was happy to take classes with Maite. She's experienced and definitely made me sweat while having a nice time!
Well, that's as good as it gets for my experience. I showed up for class on a Sunday morning 10 am, after a 45 minute drive. I checked the schedule to be sure I was there at the correct time...I was. I reached out to another teacher who assured me I was an hour early despite what the schedule had said. I waited another 30 minutes before checking the schedule again only to find all classes for the morning had been cancelled. On my drive home I texted with the owner who offered me a free t shirt and her assurance that there was an emergency and this doesn't happen often.
So I showed up for class the next morning to find the studio locked, the keys still in the door and the teacher passed out on the couch ( I can see through the front window) I attempt to call the owner as well as the studio, but nobody answered. There are bags full of empty beer cans and bottles of liquor, the teachers car is there as well as the owners car and three students are waiting outside!!! Then the couch girl disappears and the owner starts making crazy excuses that maybe it's a contractor in her studio, unbeknownst to her. She swears there were no classes scheduled for that day EVEN THOUGH THERE ARE THREE OF US WAITING OUTSIDE!!! I asked for a refund since I felt her negligence warranted it, she refused and offered nothing in exchange.
It's too bad these teachers don't have a safer environment and more professional boss.
**DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS GARBAGE DANCE FACILITY AND TERRIBLE OWNER***
