I love the Sequoia YMCA! All are welcome. Great classes like U-jam, yoga, zumba. Warm pool is great for laps, exercise. Friendly people and staff. Very clean and pleasant facility
I was Injured In a car accident. I Went to the chiropractor for 4 weeks straight. Monday Wednesday and Friday then Tuesday and Thursdays, I went to physical therapy at Kaiser. No results and my lower back problem actually got worse. I began to go to the Hudson st. YMCA and tried swimming.... Best choice I could ever have made. Within 3 weeks my lower back pain has almost totally disappeared. And not only have I realised how outta shape I've become but I've began to actually workout with light weights. On top of all those pluses, because I was temporarly disabled, I showed proof and the YMCA waived my initiation fee and reduced my monthly payments to $11.98 a month! I recommend anyone on disability that needs to begin some type of exercise to go to the Sequoia YMCA. NOT ONLY IS IT A BLESSING BUT THE STAFF ARE GREAT! THANKS SEQUOIA YMCA !!!!!
I love the YMCA! All the employees are friendly and the facilities are always clean!
Friendly, efficient, inclusive. I believe the facility is to be replaced, hope the positive and diverse milieu survives.
It's easy to join the water exercise activities, and the people in the classes are welcoming.
Women's showers and locker room are filthy. Having mentally disabled people perform the cleaning tasks means good intentions but floor of studios/exercise rooms and women's restrooms are dirty, full of lint and hair. Please hire someone new to clean and supervise that the job is done properly. Great modern facilities and friendly staff, reasonably priced.
