The manager takes advantage of new gym members and is creepy .

Most of the workers and members are really nice but this company and some staff ruin it . I really regret ever coming here and urge everyone looking here to be careful
I am older/ retired long-term member of LA Fitness.. and I still ride a big motorcycle from Lake Arrowhead all the way down the mountain to Redlands Club to play Rball .. anyway - I came out of the club at 4pm on Fri 12-6 - and it was RAINING.. NOT COOL/bad news for me.. but I went inside and asked the staff of they had some garbage bags I could use oover my body as a poncho.. and smaller bags to cover my gloves - and they DID HAVE THESE - we worked together as a team to cut holes / and taped me up at the wrist - and I got home safe and 85% dry (suprised me) .. I say THANKS to the staff who HELPED ME in my time of need .. scarrrrrry ride home in the rain up the mountain - but all went fine .. THANKS GUYS ;) - Captain Dave -retired ATP
Worst pool ever. It's like swimming in milk because the water is always so cloudy. The pool is also randomly closed all the time. The 24 hour fitness near the 10/210 freeway is such a better pool. Very clean and clear.
Machines are great! Ive been here for years! But over the last 6 months I've had to leave my workout early because they use SO much please it makes me nauseous and burns my eyes. And I'm not sensitive to bleach like that so I know it's just them using to much
Great gym, machines are all up to date but this place can get a bit busy during certain hours.
The best deal for a gym membership around. Their facility offers alot, in a well distributed location.
Gym equipment is ok. Now the review it's about Sunday's. I been coming to this location in Redlands for a few years and every Sunday is been the same. Management don't care if we complaint about men's locker room. It's dirty, don't have the basics like toilet paper, hand soap, paper towel, body soap, dirty floors, trash can fill to the top, etc etc.
Today 9/2/18 not just me but other members complaint to front desk about toilet paper and hand soap around 8:30am. And just like other occasions they just didn't care. Is like they wear slacks and nice shoes and not been paid to restock the basics in the men restroom. They answer we don't have a janitor on Sunday, and before they have one and the guy sit in the front room all morning looking at his phone. Now I don't understand how hard is for front management to just restock the basics. We paid our fees every month at least have toilet paper, paper towel and soap on Sunday.

The club itself is old, dirty, and not much excitement going on. The kids club rocks! The kids club workers are amazing. They never rush you. They are always happy and caring towards the kiddos. Really impressed with the people that work in that area. Thank you to Bailey, Liz, Michael and I believe it was Madeline in the evenings. Great kids staff

Lots of good equipment/ facilities to use, including racquetball courts, basketball courts, swimming pools, punching bags, and a good sauna!

love this gym..been coming here for 8 years...dont bother using the spa people go in and out of it without showering before..one lady pooped all over herself and the bathroom and went into the spa..thats why it was closed for 4 days last month.... some updating needs to happen..and never trust the people here..lock your doors and park up close so it doesnt get broken into..and lock your stuff in a locker... cant trust everyone...staff is friendly... weekend hours should be to 10pm not 8pm...

Meh. Pretty standard. You can really tell when the cleaning staff is on vacation.
This gym is the number one gym around! Super helpful and very knowledgeable. They treat you like you're already a member before you even sign up! They go over body fat percent and everything. If you come in ready to workout then you might even get to experience an intense workout with one of their trainers! Always clean, and everyone is motivated to get results! Really good environment to be in! Also they have a little spot that sells pre workout and protein shakes to get you ready for a great workout or recover from one. Also they have a sauna and pool, great for your skin and effective cardio for your heart. All the staff members are nice and respectful always willing to help. I definitely recommend stopping by if you're ready to change your life for the better! Whether it be to lose weight or relieve some stress La Fitness is the place for you.

I try to be kind in these reviews, but this I feel is the last straw.
The management here is obviously trying to save money, and have cleaning staff roving around while you work out. This may not sound horrible, but I encourage you to attempt sets of squats and deadlifts with someone mopping the floor around you with strong chemicals. Or perhaps you enjoy someone vacuuming around you as you lie face down on a hamstring curl machine...
I get it, they have to keep the place clean but damn... do it when you are closed!!!
good place to work out. equipment seems well maintained and its not too crowded. could benefit from better weekend hours.
Not to bad of a location. Decent facility and never too busy. Wish the gym was open later on Saturdays and while the pricing is nice and lack of contract is great - I'm not fond of the hard sell for memberships.
Gym is very spacious compared to other La Fitness locations in the area. Very rarely do I need to wait to use a piece of equipment and people (for the most part do not mind when I ask to work-in on what they are using). People ACTUALLY rerack their weights. I would have given them a 5-star but their basketball court needs some maintenance and upgrading.
Gym is good but never ever fall for personal training trap, it is merely 20 minutes for $45 plus they added sessions on your account which I never even attended, I did 3 sessions and account was charged for 9, it seems like whenever I went to gym they charged me for sessions, sometimes trainer will write exercises on the book and will charge you for sessions.. lol it is true.. so its just complete fraud. Plus before joining he will say oh you can get a refund if you don't like it. It is not true! they just want your money, just look around you will not find anyone doing personal training sessions with these guys.. because of the same reason. Every single word that director says is full of S***, otherwise, facility is nice
They got shower stalls as big as half bathrooms, beautiful people workout here doesn't share the location with anything else, my favorite one so far
I have been coming to this facility for around 2 years now and attend the water aerobics classes. Most of the time we find the water level is down so far that the performing some of the exercises more difficult. I have had a knee replacement and use this as part of my rehab. The water was about 3 degrees warmer and makes all the difference in being able to stay in the water. Lately the water level is very low and the water is too cold. If this continues I will be looking for a new place to attend the classes. The instructors are great and for that I give you a 5 star. I have met a lot of friends there as well and they also complain about the water level and the water temperature. Please remedy this situation or I will go elsewhere.
