I've been going to Able Body Pilates regularly for the last year.

Amanda, the owner/instructor, is ah-mazing! Not only is she kind and caring, she is truly dedicated to her craft and to helping me become an able-bodied individual.

She's recently introduced gyrotonics. Never heard of it? You must look it up! It's not your typical exercise routine. At the end of each session, I feel like a better, stronger, more flexible version of myself.

Working out with Amanda is another step in the right direction towards my goal of lifelong wellness and mobility.

After an injury to my neck over a decade ago, I've been at times unable to exercise at all - I wasn't sure if I would be able to move in all of the ways the Pilates requires. But working one on one with Amanda not only helped me to learn Pilates in a deeper way than any other instructor has provided, but she has tailored every session to meet my current needs. If I come in with a tight muscle, she helps me stretch and repair it; if I come in feeling tired, she makes sure I am engaged, but not leaving exhausted. She has analogies about our bodies and how Pilates supports healthy movement that has made a huge impact on how I move through my days as a teacher and a mom. Not only does she have a vast knowledge of Pilates, she is thoughtful, professional, and is a very effective teacher. I am so glad I found her!
