I thought I arrived at the wrong place cause of where it was located, but once you go inside, it's truly an amazing place for experienced and new climbers!
Good for the price. Not really much modern setting or newer hold sets and they pretty much only use older climbit holds. Good change of pace though from the newer gyms though.
I was trying to drop in for a day pass, marketed as $18 on their website as I was traveling from out of town for the weekend. I arrived with my shoes and chalk, ready to boulder when I was told for your first time the cost is actually $33! This includes gear rental which I DID NOT need! This is awful business as they lost my potential $18, every few weeks I come to town for work. Why on Earth would you force experienced climbers just dropping in for the day to pay $33!? This is absurd as so far removed from the ethos of climbing.
This place is the best, I usually spend 90 minutes here 2-3 times a week.
The pricing for the month is the best deal if you go twice in a month you have already payed for the month
All the people here are very nice and friendly
You can rent most of the gear that you need for climbing and it's at a great price too.
The only negative I have is that's it's so popular that you sometimes have a hard time finding parking
Went on a school field trip with the international students. It was a great time, the climbing trials were challenging but fun. The staff was really nice and patient, our group was given the upstairs seating area to eat our lunches. I would recommend if you have been looking to do indoor rock climbing.
This gym is great. Good mix of bouldering and top rope (including two auto belays now), with plenty of space for lead climbing, and two crags if you want to practice crag climbing.
Very good laid back atmosphere, and a great place for beginners and experienced climbers alike. It is not heated or cooled, so dress appropriately for the season.
Love this place it's our weekly date night stop for sure!!

Good cheap place to climb. Their Free Climbing level system is very consistent. I can climb up to V03 at Mission Viejo gym, but I can't even do V02 here.

My wife and I came to the game with our 1 and 4 year old daughters about 2 years ago on a Thursday night when they had a family night special. We have now been going about twice a week for the last 2 years and have loved every time we go the staff is amazing and I can only say good things about the environment and endless help that is available. Both of our daughters now climb and it is now our go to family activity! Thank you hanger 18.

Staff members are great and helpful, if you truly admit you knowledge level of climbing and physical ability. Great places for an off-beat party.
Great gym for bouldering and lead climbing. The upland location doesn't have much top roping, only a small area with maybe four or five belay stations. However, I've grown to like that it's only lead climbing because it keeps the routes less busy, and many of their routes have overhung extensions for a harder grade. The staff are great, and they will lend you a rope for free. Moreover, the bouldering areas are large and offer several climbs in a wide range of difficulties. They also use color coordinating holds instead of tape, which I love.

The staff is always so laid back, knowledgeable and friendly. This place is great for lead climbing and bouldering but the top rope runs can be a little limited.
My go to gym to climb. Plenty of street parking if you dont mind a walk. Located right off the 10 freeway, easy to get to. Can get busy when schools out. Bouldering, belaying and top roping available. The levels they set for bouldering seem to be harder than whats advertised, but its a good way to challenge yourself. They change the layout often so the climbs aren't the same all the time. Good place to climb.
Excellent routes here. Typical climbing gym benches, cubbies for your stuff. Two things though, first parking is...well needs to be worked on. Basically its just the side of the building. Its not clear where to park and the building doesn't have a great sign, so its difficult to locate for any first timers to the establishment.
I love climbing at all the hangar gyms. There is a great selection of lead climbs and a decent amount of bouldering.
Awesome place to climb, wish they played more music. They would play one song then then the speakers would go silent again lol
Awesome climbing gym! Friendly people, and an awesome environment even for beginners. They change their routes frequently enough to keep challenging everyone
