Dave is an excellent massage therapist in Berkeley. I've been going to see him for a few years now and I am always satisfied with the massages I receive. I've been to his beautiful massage studio in Berkeley and also had a few outcalls where he set up his massage table in my house.
So what makes Dave a good massage therapist...?
- He listens carefully to what I want in each massage session.
- He has a great intuitive sense of what my body needs, where the
knots and stress is being held.
- He has strong hands and a smooth touch.
- He is also a good guy with great energy and makes me and everyone
that I have recommended to him feel super comfortable.
Overall, Dave is incredibly tuned in and sensitive while being a
skillful massage therapist. He is definitely my choice for a great massage therapist in Berkeley.

I'm jumping on the train of loving David's massage! He provided me with a truly relaxing and healing bodywork session. He transitioned seamlessly and creatively throughout the session and I loved the side-lying work! I have to say I was in a state of totally amazing smushiness, so some moments are a little fuzzy, but that is just testament to how wonderful David's work is! Not to mention his full attention and care to you, the person who has walked in carrying all sorts of stuff in your body, which can make massage a vulnerable experience. David made me feel absolutely comfortable. I'm looking forward to more work!

Dave gives a wonderful massage. I've been going to him for his healing touch for a couple of years now and have never been disappointed. His style of massage is deep, intuitive, and uniquely therapeutic.
I agree with Michelle's review completely - some how his massage style is deeply emotionally healing for me. My body responds very well to his touch and he is totally professional in every way. His studio is beautiful, serene, and very clean.
Just yesterday he was able to access a place where I hold a great deal of tension - when he made contact, I experienced a waterfall effect that radiated outwards. An immense wave of relief emanated throughout my body. it felt like light-water flowing through the fibers of my musculature and was deeply healing.
My wife has also been going to Dave and always come home from her massage in a buoyant mood, deeply satisfied.
Keep up the good work!
