Decent prices. A little small so you can feel a little intimated. Great place for people getting back to the gym. No pool, I don't think they offer any classes, if they do they're all in morning or early afternoon. I don't mind it, as I don't like big gyms and classes would be nice, but definitely not a deal breaker. Always a treadmill free. You might have to wait for some equipment. People are mostly clean and wipe down after use. There are a FEW people who look like they're out of a magazine with makeup and muscles ripping out of their shirt (nothing wrong with that!) If you find this intimidating, you probably shouldn't join a gym at all, honestly. Most people are overweight and serious about weight loss. I would say the ratio was 60/40 overweight/ fit gym regular. Most people are your average gym regular, people are focused and not there to play around. They want their workout routine and done.

Sam and Garret gave excellent customer service. They explained everything thoroughly and in a quick manner! Place looks clean and has good air conditioning

I tried to join Planet Fitness with their 20 Cents down $10 a month promotion. I wanted to pay 12 months in advance with cash. They would not accept my money. To join you are required to give them your account number. With all the data breaches last year, this seems like an unreasonable and ridicules requirement. They are not getting my account number and they don't want my money.. I can only guess how secure their servers are. I will be going somewhere else.
I am not happy!!!!

This gym is much better than others. For the price and what You get, even the upgrade is worth it. And for daily/weekly visitors, I recommend it. There is a small shop by front desk for snacks and things with a seating/rest area. Handicap accessibility. Water stations. A wide variety of equipment that the staff help keep clean, too. I really like that the women's bathroom/showers are mostly kept clean, sorry if the same cannot be said for the men's. (There isn't changing stalls in men's but there is in women's). Plenty of lockers. Ample parking in front and back. Depending on time of day, there is security patrolling the premises. Also, shared parking lot with many businesses and a local bar- beware if parked too far, too late at night! (there has been drunk people doing donuts and hit/run vehicles). Be considerate of others and Your surroundings. Make sure to stay hydrated! Have fun!

I used to be a member of In-Shape, and after visiting planet fitness, I gave up my membership there.
This location offered everything that I had at my previous gym, but was about $40 a month cheaper! It also offers the Black Card members, free tanning, massage chairs as well as some other therapies. Free training is also included here! with my black card membership, I can go to any other planet fitness location no matter where in the country. This is super nice since I travel quite a bit!
The location is incredibly clean and the staff is constantly wiping down the machines and cleaning the floor.
Speaking of staff, they are incredibly friendly and welcoming, regardless if it is your first time in the gym or if you are an old pro at working out.
I highly recommend this facility!

The rudest interaction I've ever had with gym staff anywhere. After they were done being completely unprofessional, i asked for there corporate number. To which they replied we dont have go home and cry about it. It was a simple misunderstanding, about there billing because they charged me twice in one month. The only reason i assume they are this rude, is because of lack of corporate repercussion. I was a loyal, frequent customer, and constantly recommended this gym for about 3 years. However after the complete disrespect that was shown to me i will never go there again, and i will no longer recommend planet fitness ever again. Also i completely agre with David, they have very shady tactics when it comes to contracts. Good thing mine was up in a month .

Love this place staff is very friendly it's a clean place. The staff was very thorough and explaining my membership benefits and policies if they have and very helpful when it came to me trying to use the extra benefits for the Black Card members. They made me feel like it's easy to ask them questions even if it's just for the littlest things

30 Minute Express Circuit: It is not monitored despite the signs that say it is. The majority of users are not there for the circuit but instead target certain equipment and sit there over multiple rotations and some even just sit and relax while they use their cell phones, they seem oblivious to the fact that it's a rotating system and will not move for you when it's your turn. I don't care that people want to use only certain equipment in there just move for the next person who's actually doing the circuit. Talking to the attendants hasn't helped.
Otherwise it is very clean and inviting, and if you can go when it's not so busy there is plenty of equipment available in the main room.

Just signed up for a gym membership here tonight and got fantastic customer service! My friend n I had Patrick helping us and made out whole experience great as first time Planet Fitness members. He provided all the information we needed to know and was able to accommodate us to what we need. If you are looking for a gym to join, Planet Fitness is the way and ask for Patrick!

Im very comfortable at this gym. The staff are extremely helpful. I also really enjoy the total body enhancement and unlimited tanning with the black card for only $20 a month!!

This planet fitness (I cannot speak for the company as a whole) is not the best location, they have homeless staring inside sometimes or people that can make you feel uncomfortable, they say it's a no-judgement zone but I don't entirely capture that vibe.
When you sign up they will most likely not explain there is an "annual fee", in my case they did not tell me this and ended up overcharging my account $40 with no refund appeal or anything else (I've only been a member for 2-months at this time) and I'm definitely most likely to cancel my subscription or move to another gym at this rate.
If you sign up for this particular Planet Fitness then make sure you review your fees they will be charging you and make sure you like the atmosphere, it's best to see it at the day time and then at night time to get your money's worth.

I really love this fitness center!! Its part of my daily routine to stay healthy,I was recommended by a few friends in The New England Area, before I had a membership to a local Gym Inshape that place had alot of the same equipment but was a negative environment!! I got bullied there here I feel free and healthy I notice its trending to stay fit. Especially when you cant exercise out-doors due to weather! In New England its a lot of bad weather, hard to stay healthy or even go out for a walk because nobody likes walking in that weather!! Plus its dangerous!! My membership is good throughout the States my family is still living In Massachusetts/ New Hampshire area!! Awesome place!!

As a longtime member of a competitor and very well-known gym in the area I must say that Brian and his crew at both Modesto locations are absolutely fabulous exclamation point the gyms are always clean , machines are always Well Serviced, and the price is phenomenal! If you haven't found a gym or you're sick the Meatheads who throw weights and pound their chest, change to Planet Fitness you will not be disappointed

This gym location are snobs and not very inviting. Briggsmore gym is smaller compared to this location but way better as far as staff goes. The staff don't make you feel less than them or provide fake ass smiles! If Briggsmore changes and becomes like Orangeburg --I'M CANCELLING MY PLANET FITNESS MEMBERSHIP AND GOING TO IN-SHAPE!
