Great services offered. Pools, free weights, machines, tons of aerobic machines and TVs, saunanand steam room and hot tub. Clean, unpretentious, well maintained facility

The kids area, I have my kids full time and this is an active and social opportunity for them. The ladies that work that area are fantastic, attentive, trustworthy. I am able to pursue my workout confident that my children are ok.I was called at the right time to sign up. Ive been a member several times, the promotions are important to me because there is the initiation + monthly + annual + (kids zone) for me. it all adds up. the promotion i was called about made the number line up so I can afford to pursue my workout at my time ability, if i go once a day/week or even month, it is a comfortable expense.in my case the resistance "circuit" area WORKS. i used to be a palendale member, the machines were set up where i was able to make my own circuit for torso and then the "irons area" for legs. here, everything is in a good spot I can make use of AND still see that my kids are having a good time.I can hear the classes and the energy, the people are a good mix where its good silent company and even a few friendly words. The treadmills are not the focus area, they are their own section off to the left which gives it a great feel when I walk in. The open space is great, I walk in, there are machines:

Everyone is so friendly and concerned if there may be a situation. The staff and most every member are pleasant as well. The gym and the locker rooms are kept clean and always see them use the bottles of sanitize to clean after someone or can use it yourself, just in case.
Excellent gym. Plenty of machines and weight. Love the hours, open 34 hours during the week

Yall should have basketball courts that would be a good investment are courts they could even arrange games/tournaments and charge them $2 a person

Great place could be a little cleaner though
I went for the Zumba clases today I took my daugther with me and at check in the guys there told me there was a waiting list in the kids zone. I wrote my daughters name and notice there was 3 kids in front of us in the list, we wait for 15 min and I saw like 6 kids with their parents leaving. I ask the receptionists and they both said they were still over limit. I decided to leave and when we were coming out a lady with her daughter checked in, and these guys just let her go. This is not fair I'm paying for a family plan that barely use because of time issues, and when I finally find some time to exercise I faced this issues.
I love my gym! I go to the water aerobics classes and the teacher, Joe, is amazing!
I signed up for personal training, and the person trainer assigned or his manager are never available. My credit card continues to be charged but I can't schedule a session. I tried voice mails, texts and even call corporate. Been over 3 weeks and no response. Save your money and find a place that delivers some kind of customers service....

I have been going to this In-Shape for about 2 years. Today when I arrived the person at the counter was busy and I had to wait, which isn't a huge deal, once checked in he called me back to the counter and told me I did not have access to this specific In-Shape. Mind you, I was REALLY looking forward to getting a good workout in... A "District Manger" by the name of "Victor Ramos" was called to assist me to sort things out and told me I would have to pay two times the amount I've currently been paying. However, he wasn't very helpful. He was quick to terminate my account, after I briefly mentioned wanting to cancel. I was VERY disappointed, since I have been a member for a while, 3+ years. He wasn't able to problem solve effectively. I have been a loyal member and that broke the trust I had with this company. It's all about how you convey yourself and approach, especially if you're a leader within the company. I have had my opinions about this specific In-Shape, but haven't cared enough to express them in writing. Hence, now I see it as an appropriate time to vent frustrations. Many times coming in I would not get greeted while the staff stood around talking amongst themselves. There were also times where I had to check myself in because again they were too busy talking to each other, at least that's how it appeared to me. I have worked retail for about 7 years, so I am really particular about my guest experience. I really don't seek for much when it comes to customer service, just a simple genuine hello with eye contact would make me feel acknowledged and appreciated. On a separate occasion my car had gotten broken into at this In-Shape's parking lot where items were stolen... They were unable to assist in video footage due to the manager being out. I left my number and never received a call, even when I called to follow up no one could help. Again, it took me a while to build up trust to go to that In-Shape... I am very dissatisfied with this company. I would NOT recommend family, friends, or even acquaintances to enroll into this gym (at any location, but DEFINITELY not the Prescott In-Shape). I am a semi-athletic person and enjoy going to the gym, but it's time for me to move on and go to a well-rounded, guest service orientated gym.
