Best experience ever! The exquisite attention to detail is obvious throughout the whole hotel. The design was absolutely stunning and the staff was welcoming and helpful. Clean, spacious rooms, onsite activities, dining, and shopping make it easy to relax in one place without getting bored and hassle. Highly recommended hotel.

Great hotel, stayed there seven times in the last eight years, coming from Australia. Like a comfortable arm chair, touch of class, set in beautiful gardens and a gorgeous neighborhood surrounding.

Elegant building and yards. Very well trained staff. Try the Spa!
Enjoy the exceptionally maintained garden and yards.
The only problem was the spa and gym were used by some non hotel members who were quite dominating and territorial.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel/resort. One of my absolute favorite places I have visited. The rooms are comfortable and the grounds are beautiful with amazing views.

Me and my family had an excellent experience at this hotel. Prices are on the higher end but the staff , food , and overall experience was definite to my families liking. Great location area from a lot of food places in Pasadena within 10-15 min drive.

Loved the 'Chocolate' Tea on Sunday. I've actually celebrated my birthday here with friends and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Apart from the room being a little too damp (on a particularly rainy February day that year), it's a fairly elegant service.

All inclusive resort just outside of the bustling and beautiful Los Angeles. The professional staff at this hotel is by far one of the best features of your stay at the Langham; while they tend to your every request, they also anticipate every need, including a cart of free ice cream as soon as you walk in to the lobby. The beautiful scenery coupled with the majestic views of the mountains really accentuates the comfort of your room. Highly recommend.

Was here for a friend's wedding, and this was not the first time (I have been to weddings here previously). The Langham is a consistently high class place with great service and great ambiance and facilities. I enjoy coming here to invited events. The only thing: I do tend to leave events with enough alcohol, but not enough food. But maybe that's just weddings?

Really like this place. Been coming here since 1997 for drinks, dinner, parties, and the occasional stay. While it's not the Ritz anymore, I keep coming back. The front desk staff aren't as cool as they were two decades ago, they are still professional and welcoming. The service staff at the restaurants and bar are phenomenal.

This place is so beautiful. It's a hotel located in Pasadena, within the hotel there's a bar which has life jazz music on Thursdays. I was there to visit the bar which is called the Tap Room. To get to the bar you have to walk through the hotel, which is really a treat the grand entrance is decorated by beautiful chandeliers and a big table with a beautiful flower arrangement. The bar is pricey, you can only valet which isn't bad because the hotel validates and you only pay 6.00 for parking. They have a great view it's a very classy place but again if you're on a budget not the place for you.

What a lovely place! I have been coming here since it was The Ritz Carlton, which was a little better than now. But it is still pretty darn lovely. I always loved having afternoon tea. The server, Kit, made all the difference, of course. The scones were served delicious, hot steamy inside. The finger sandwiches were perfectly made with just the right amount of mayonnaise. The decadent chocolate cakes and lemon cakes for dessert were amazing. My favorite tea was the Flower Flavor, if not the Silk Road. The view of the garden was beautiful. The flowers were fresh and well complimenting. The prices were a bit steep, but you get what you pay for. My daughter had her first birthday celebration here, and I had other special events here over the years. Lovely every time!

The Langham is a resort of a hotel. The views we're beautiful. However, the does feel it's age. There has only been moderate modern updates. I have paid less and gotten more at other hotels. You're just paying for the name here. It sounds negative but I did have a nice visit here.

Love the pool. Service can be hit and miss (at the pool) but usually the pool and relaxing environment makes it easy not to make a big deal out of it.
I almost forgot, it seems like they stop serving at the pool around 4:30 which sort of sucks. If I was running the place I would not limit sales. ;)

Beautiful hotel. Service has been great. As expected, room service is pricey. They do offer free shuttle service on a first come first served basis to any place within 3 miles of the hotel - a very nice amenity. Look for deals on travelzoo or other sites before booking.

My bridesmaids treated me to The Langham Afternoon Tea with Wedgwood as one of the events for the bachelorette day. It was delicious and i especially like the Langham blend. The Peach flavored tea was also a favorite with several of my bridesmaids. We loved our high tea experience and we discussed making it an annual thing. Thank you Langham Afternoon Staff for making it a lovely tea time.

The fact that they charge $14 to park your car for a very short time is ridiculous. When hotels nickel and dime guests, it tells you they they really don't care about customer service or giving the customer a great experience. This hotel is nice but it's very stuffy in terms of attitude and the belief that they are providing an exclusive experience and high level of service. They still haven't figured out what great customer service really is.

Love the bar, awesome nature atmosphere in an otherwise busy area. The garden is a pleasure to stroll through as well. The rooms are decent but definitely shows a bit of age. Look for special deals to stay at this historic gem. Valet parking only and it's pretty expensive.

Beautiful place! Wonderful view, amazing garden, rooms are great too! The lounge seems really nice to but didn't have a chance to check out out.

This hotel is absolutely amazing!!! The whole place is amazing and we were so welcomed and helped by everyone. The pool is great and the garden areas are beautiful! Best of all they are so clean you could eat off your floor,no joke. Beds ate comfortable and everything is so clean. They do an amazing job there to make you feel welcome and comfortable. I tried the tap house and ordered the tacos which were delicious. Will definitely be going back often.

An amazing place, hidden in a housing community in the San Gabriel Valley. If you were just driving by you could almost miss the place completely. It's so out-of-place it's awesome! The location is beautiful and quiet, though traffic goes up and down the street in a constant stream, but you'll be tucked in and away from the fuss you won't even notice the car has been invented! Beautiful grounds and excellent service.

I took my husband for his birthday dinner at the Royce. the hotel was beautiful all the stuff that we interacted with were super nice and the restaurant was very good. Be aware that this place seems super formal compared to most places in Southern California

Absolutely stunning. All the staff were so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. If you already have a place to stay, I highly recommend stopping in to simply take a look at the decor and the gardens.

A MUST PLACE TO VISIT WHEN COMING TO SOUTHERN OF CALIFORNIA!!!The best place to relax, dine, take afternoon tea, go to the swiming area, or just walk around the beautiful grounds of the green garden. Staff is very courteous, rooms are very plush and clean. The hotel has elegant decor. Perfect place for relaxing or romance, work or vacation. The restaurants and the tea room are a must visit top noch service. The hotel is adjacent to old town Pasadena, The Huntington library, the Rose Bowl and near by museums and shopping centers. Safe location for tourist and locals.

Arrived at the Langham Huntington and valet parked for our afternoon tea. If you have never had afternoon tea, it is the most relaxing event you can do, and the Huntington has mastered it for decades. There is always an amazing variety of tea sandwiches, pastries and dessert. The teas are amazing and the service and atmosphere are top notch. I have had afternoon tea at several other places and tea at the Huntington is far superior.

Not sure why this hotel has 5 stars. I stayed here as part of a bridal party this weekend and the service was not great. The attendeeswere not consistently nice and, at times, gave attitude. It costs way too much to stay at this hotel to encounter bad customer service. Furthermore, $30 overnight parking is absolutely ridiculous! I know this is a place of business and that's their prerogative, but seriously!? I'd rather stay at the Marriott; better customer service.

Beautiful hotel and common areas with great service. I was there for an event with over 700 guests and the overall food wasn't that great and the only had 1 restaurant open that wasn't adequately staffed. Also, the hotel is very traditional so if you prefer more modern, updated spaces and rooms, this is definitely more on the classic/traditional side.

This hotel is beautiful and incredibly well run! While attending a conference at the event I've truly explored the whole property and in every interaction I've had with staff and the conference spaces I've had nothing but outstanding service and quality. The dining options are plentiful and the waitstaff is very knowledgeable should you have dietary restrictions. I highly recommend the Terrace Restaurant for their Crispy Brussel Sprouts and Popcorn Chicken. The hotel accommodations are excellent as well, my room had lots nice touches such as a fully stocked mini bar, a wine service set, and a Nespresso coffee maker. The bed was super comfortable.

My time at The Langham Huntington Hotel was short but nice. I went there for a wedding and wasn't able to get the full experience but did manage to get a feel for the place. All the staff members I encountered were very courteous and professional. The food I had was excellent. In case your curious it was a beef filet with a purple potato salad. The interior definitely has a higher class feel to it compared to normal hotels. Lastly, the grounds in the back were very nice and well maintained. If your thinking of hosting and event in the Pasadena area I'd recommend checking this place out.

Location is nice and quiet with great hotel staff members. There is a round circle which makes it easy for drivers to pick me up at night. Nice interior decorations during Christmas time and concierge knows where all of the different locations are. Hotel runs 24/7 and I never had an issue getting around inside.

I worked for this company for culinary staffing. I overall like the terrace kitchen. At the time ran by chef Girard who now works at the Langham in Chicago As well as chef Byron who previously worked for patina for many years. The catering kitchen is very well developed along side the pastry and confections station. The Royce is very nice place to end up after having passed through the other kitchens at the Langham hotel.

Very beautiful place. It is around a residential area but you shouldn't have trouble spotting the open entrance while driving by. I was not a guest here but ate at the Terrace restaurant. I didn't know where to go initially but the staff are all friendly and helpful. The food is good and there are enough options that everyone could get something they like without an overwhelming menu. The plates are expensive so you're paying for quality ingredients and good service. Overall the beauty of the place is the most notable feature.

Langham if a beautiful hotel in the middle of a quiet residential community. It would be a beautiful site for a wedding or other special event. Staff is helpful and attentive to guest needs. Management works well to plan event and to have the event run smoothly. It is on the pricey side, so if you are on a tight budget, make sure to ask lots of questions before committing. Rooms are spacious and nice, and the bed and linens are super comfortable! Make sure to check out the Japanese garden!

We stayed four a couple of weeks. Staff are incredibly sweet. The rooms are runned down but service is incredible. The views are amazing. The bar is fun, play life music and great drinks. Lots of people!

I came here for Afternoon Tea in the Lobby Lounge. This was by far the best tea experience I've had. Everything was perfect! The staff was very attentive and friendly. The sandwiches, scones, and many others sweets were all so tasty. The tea was excellent. My favorite was the Silk Road. If you are looking for a wonderful and relaxing tea spot, I highly recommend this place.

The staff here are amazing! Everyone is friendly and helpful & the food at the restaurant was incredible! Even if you only went there to have lunch, it would be so worth it. There is no self parking so be prepared to pay for valet parking.

This is a wonderful hotel! Old world charm and history with contemporary staffing, first class service, and completely modernized facilities. This is like stepping back into what we all dream about when we say, "the service used to be...." !! At the Langham Huntington, it still IS, only better, if that's even possible. Do not miss staying here!

My wife and I popped in for afternoon tea. It was wonderful. I highly recommend if you have a taste for high-end tea and sandwiches without crust. We will definitely return.

Stayed here with my wife a year ago. I'm compelled to write a review because for the past 1 year I have held every other breakfast to the gold standard of the breakfast we had at this hotel. Every fruit piece was ripe and perfect tasting. The eggs were cooked to perfection by a skilled chef. Little bottles of maple syrup (a few found their way back to my home and a perfect for rare use of syrup). Absolutely the best buffet breakfast I have ever had.

What a fantastic place! Beautifully appointed. Immaculate grounds. Swimming pool. Extra helpful staff. Convenient and free shuttle bus to take you to the Huntington Gardens, shops and other local places.

I had one of the most amazing times going to the 1 of the many restaurants at this hotel. The staff is very nice and friendly. I was looking for were I needed to go. A manager stopped what he was doing and walked us all the way were we needed to be instead of just pointing the way. I guarantee your wife will not be disappointed if you take her here for a night for dinner. They have a amazing Japanese garden that nice pictures can be taken.

The Langham provided a great experience. Starting with the valets that helps to park our car. They had excellent attitudes and we're expedient in helping us unload and head to our event. The decorations and architecture were very lovely. The venue was well done and prepped for my friend's wedding. The food was also amazing.

A unique spot, located in residential Pasadena. Steeped in history, it's a great place to stay. The bar area is nice and fresh. Great service, drinks, & wine. On the weekends they sometimes have a band. There's also a great outdoor patio that's nice to enjoy. Only downside, you can't really walk out to anywhere from the Langham. It really is in the middle of a very exclusive residential area so it's quiet and peaceful. Want to know what it feels like to live in a $5M neighbourhood? Stay here for few nights and you'll get the idea.

Wonderful place. Good hospitality. A nice property spread over a vast peaceful area. Ideal for both personal getaway and business meetings. Good restaurants and wide range of wine selection. Well informed staff. I would love to go there again with family.
