Good gym, not too crowded. Lots of machines to use from and they are very clean for the most part. Not too crowded and good to go to in the mornings.
Even when busy, people are considerate of others. Staff is pretty friendly.
Excellent...everything for great workout...not crowded just loaded...down the block is a dump in comparison
Its fun and alot of machines to use!
24hr fitness on corner of California and Brand has changed. Change towards big improvement. The cardiovascular machines are slightly outdated though everything else is reasonably new and in good condition. They have machine weights and free weights including TRX, ability ladder, bosu ball, ropes, pull up bars, and revamped exercise room. The bathrooms are decent. Service is nice. Parking is available by street (pay), parking lot in back (pay), and parking structure 1 block away. The parking structure offers 90 minutes free parking. It's a basic gym that has things needed for a quality workout.
The Service: Friendly staffs at the counter.
The Gym: Upstairs. So you start your "cardio" before you even check-in at the counter. Very well maintained location.
The Parking: Parking structure. They do validate but you still need to pay a small fee. Behind the building is residential area, 2 hours free parking but very limited space.

They are only getting their act together after Gold's gym moved in down the street. Before that they had numerous machines that were broken, a water fountain that rarely worked, and a water damaged ceiling. I recommend Gold's gym at the Galleria over this place.

Extremely loud and obnoxious members that hang out in the hot tub and saunas. Very rude to other members. This facility is closer to my home, but I prefer the Alhambra branch that has a much more courteous staff and members.

While not a super sport facility, this gym is adequately equipped and the best thing about it is that it is never crowded. Also unlike the super sport gym down the street, the sauna is private in the men's locker so I don't need a bathing suit to use it. It has no racquet ball court, no pool and no steam room so if that's what you want you need to pay more and go to the super sport facility down the street but I have access to both and rarely use the super sport one. My only complaint is that the locker room and shower areas are a bit dated and in need of some maintenance.

Awesome gym. The staff is very friendly and always out going. Highly recommend!
I've been going here for well over 10 years and it's been my favorite gym for a long time until a while ago you started having to pay for parking anytime expect sundays. Unfortunately they have changed so many times and had so many plain annoying managers come and go that I don't even know what they are doing. They had a huge deal about not having gym bags with you. What's the deal with that? I've been to plenty of other gyms and there is no such thing as that stupid rule.
There is pretty often broken machines that don't get repaired for a LONG TIME or pins are missing.
The most annoying part is that you have to pay for parking here and they do not validate it. Parking here is also total cancer; you'll be lucky to find any spot even at 10 PM at night. I love the freeweights area because it sorta feels like a dark dungeon area but that's about it. This is like my home gym when I come back to the Glenhell area like once a blue moon.
Good gym but parking situation is why im giving it a 3 star. You have to pay for parking and since its close to a pool hall and bar there isnt much parking and doesnt feel too safe to be there at night.
Signing up they kiss ur a*** when u cancel they will drain the life out of you be aware of this none sense
Worse customer service worse location worse gym worse management!!! Dont bother!
WAAAYYY too many machines crowding the main (and only) floor. No pool for aqua classes. Inconvenient access...poor signage outside as to WHICH FLOOR to go to. BUT...great front desk.staff!
FYI: you have to pay for parking around this area, so be prepared. Gym is small, dudes like to slam weights often, and showers are open. Watch out for weird guys looking at your junk agile you shower. The sauna room is oddly positioned in front of the shower stalls. I felt a bit uncomfortable. The only plus is the surrounding area, nice shops and interesting places to eat.
Curtis is the Man to see ! He runs this place like it is his home and i have never met a more passionate individual when it comes to fitness he is the man !
It was filthy. Clogged sinks, unflushed toliets, globs of hair & wet towels on shower room floor. Gross! Haven't been back.
the machines are not maintained as much as they should be.. and the parking situation could be better, but overall not bad
Love this place grate staff well maintained
Active level club. Although this gym is compact and well used, you'll find that it is generally kept clean. The staff has always been friendly and accommodating. This gym is definitely showing its age as many pieces of equipment are outdated and well used, however a steady trickle of equipment replacement shows this gym is heading in a positive direction of improvement.
While the variety of equipment is not as diverse as other locations, all the essentials are there to provide a great workout. The gym floor is generally well organized with equipment found where is should be.
Other amenities include group classes and saunas.
