What's the point of being sold and paying for a super sports when there is no towels, jacuzzi is always broken. 6 months ago do to a back injury jacuzzi was down. Now I come back to gym and the jacuzzi was s still down. SMH.
Very bad club. Very dirty club. Practical sauna does not work at all. Homeless people come to the sports club. Wardrobes are very old and dirty. Going to such a dirty club is not respecting yourself
Been going for years with no real issues but just today my lock was broken and $120 was stolen while I was at yoga! Management of course just took my name then the old "too bad, so sad"...they wouldn't even check the video monitor until tomorrow...too little too late
As far as it being open all night a big plus less homeless now but still a lot of troublemakers weights all over the place workers who work there 8 pm though the night have no skills in being polite to the customers mostly on there cell phones or playing the dating game pretty much they don't want to be there not joking they need classes in greeting and being polite all else a solider c from a to f
This is one of the biggest gyms in LA located at the same lot with Arclight Theater. Service was ok! Good equipment!
place is awful. two of the three upstairs water fountains have been out of commission for months. and the one that works smells disgusting because they use dirty mops to clean under it. they are also very very low on lighter plates for free weights. but the location is great. tread carefully before signing a contract.
Dirty locker rooms with homeless people sleeping and doing their laundry in a sink. Ineffective management, several rude front desk greeters.
Free weights are scattered all over the place, while most employees playing on their phones
Parking is 3$ if you stay under 2 hours and there is virtually no free street parking available from 8am until 8pm
Extremely hard to cancel membership once you want out of this messy place
The only positive thing I have to say is to their one and only housekeeper, who seems like a hard working individual, however, for the size of that place, one person is clearly not enough to keep up
This place is dirty. It's a shame because I've been a member of 24 hour fitness for over 10 years. It always smells bad, poor ventilation, the machines, particularly the treadmills are always broken, the locker room smells so bad I can't go in there. It's awful. How hard is it to clean the gym. Hire 3 more people to keep the place clean. Parking is expensive. $3 each time. That is also assuming you leave within two hours. If not, it increases significantly. If you try to go to the gym 4 times per week, you're looking at an additional $50 per month for your gym membership just because of parking.

Great gym. Clean towels. Plenty of machines to work on. Great variety of weights to lift. Pretty clean. People that come there to work out seem nice. Staff seems nice. Lady at front desk was very nice and helpful. Water from drinking fountain tasted clean and lots of cleaning stations around. Didn't give 5 stars because there were a considerable about of bike machines that were broken. Overall though, cool place to work out, as I will definitely be coming back! :)

Most disgusting gym I've ever worked out in and that includes $10 a month planet fitness. What an incredible disappointment Everything was filthy, locker room had toilet paper everywhere, weights were scattered throughout the gym, floors were so disgusting I didn't dare do core or abs. All this while the staff sat on cell phones and on countertops at the front. For reference, this was all on a slow Friday night. Really horrible and I'm not one to complain.
I have spent the day assisting a good friend who had her wallet stolen from her LOCKED locker. My friend received no support from staff but was told that this locker room theft was not an isolated incident. She was at the gym for an hour and a half and there was activity on her cards at Sephora and Target as well as two other retailer during that period of time. She received a phishing call later from one of her banks! Beware!
Terrible management and no respect and non-friendly. Made me wait 20 mins to get in for guest pass. Finally some manager came and apologized. Otherwise, equipment and stuff is good but not good showers.
As a member and ex employee, I recommend this gym ! Has everything that a super sport should have ! Best one so far that I have been too. This super sport gym is better than the one on ocean and the one on Santa Monica. hands down the only down side is that they only have a pool not a hot tub, but they do have a steam and sauna room. And you have to pay $3 for parking with validation which sucks !

Love my 24 Hour Fitness. Been a member since they opened up in 2002. It's like my second home!
Had my membership for 8 months but had to cancel. My issues with this gym are:
1st: They validate parking but you still have to may $3. If you go to the gym 5/6 days a week, that's $45 a month. That's more than your membership costs per month. Might as well do Equinox at that point.
2nd: The facilities are very unkempt. The bathrooms/locker rooms are vile. No one washes mats, weights, or machines. Cleaning stations are few and far between and are often not stocked.
3rd: The staff is cold. There's definitely a hierarchy of treatment to gym members.
4th: There is a lack of equipment and machines. For the Hollywood location (which is a large area of town) there are hardly enough dumbbells or machines to support the size of their members. Nothing is ever returned to their shelves and trainers don't have their own so you're out of luck if there's a session going on in your area. I dealt with a trainer being extremely rude to me when it came to sharing equipment.
5th: Lastly, I'd say location is against this gym. Its located right in the heart of downtown Hollywood. If you're an evening gym goer this is rush hour and a madhouse. This is not something that 24hr fitness can change, but it shares a courtyard with the historical Dome Arclight. There are always events going on which effects parking AND walk-on's. I've never had so many issues trying to make it to the entrance of my gym.
Being from out of town and being a cirrcur member you would think the staff would be friendly and nice. WRONG! They were rude and scammers. We had attempted to go to another 24 hour that stated was open but turns out it was closed for renovations but yuy would know about it unless you went there. We had gone with a friend that got a guest pass for the original gym we tried to go to, once we talked to the first staff members upon walking into this gym they told us they would honor her guest pass for the day, which was all we needed, THEN the manager for someone decided to try to get our friend to join the gym when we mentioned we are from out of state on top of they forced her to pay 25.00 to work out there after being told that we could use the guess pass. They were not pleased that our friend was not going to get a membership so they forced her to pay. They even told her that she could by something and apply the charge for her having to pay to get in to said item she got. Even when I asked the difference between the gyms because I'm a member at a Sport version and this one is a sport plus the staff member said she doesn't know the difference then tried to cover herself by giving a lame response.
Once we finally got through checking in the gym atmosphere was so horrible I felt completely uncomfortable being there very long. We all completed our workout as quickly as possible to get out of the gym. Their equipment was all over place and nothing was put back where it belonged after being used. Paper towel stands were all out. Honnestly that place needed a massive clean up and restocking.
If your not from the area don't go here. It's difficult to get into unless you ask someone for assistance. The staff and management were rude and disrepctdtful. Just stay away.
Usually a Wilshire goer, but had to visit this location while under construction. I had been here previously months back but after going returning I'm reminded why I never go here.
This place SUCKS! it's gross af and the environment is disgusting and smells terrible. The locker room is trash and the smell makes you gag. HOWEVER, the smell of the speedo filed sauna makes you throw up in your mouth. The cardio floor is fine but I wouldn't recommend using the facility water fountains. If you want to venture to the top floor be prepared to loose your warm up from overcrowded machinery and missing free weights. There is only two squat racks and only two sanitary stations for cleaning the equipment. Gym members will stay on the same bench or rack for an hour and you'll find yourself no doing workouts you'd like to finish in your visit.
I'm half a week into trying this location again and I'm not interested in returning. I don't want to pay $3 to park and have my time wasted by equipment hogs and dirty spaces. IT'S NOT EVEN 24 HOURS! what?!
This gym is spacious and is divided into two levels. Equipment are usually organized and in decent condition. Has a nice open window view of the Arc Light Globe. Sauna run nice and hot, surely giving you a proper sweat. Wifi worked and connected well throughout the facility except for the sauna.
Only downfalls are they do not play any music, loud enough if that, to hear during the time of my attendance. There are not enough clocks placed around the gym to help you get better usage of your workout timings. I mention these because the 24 Hour Fitness I attended in Miami provided these, and it was not a "Super Sport package" which I was forced to upgrade to for attending this location in Hollywood,CA.

Parking garage always has parking!! $3 for the first 2 hrs. And it's an amazing gym. Really big, large turf area, and a slam wall for throwing medicine balls against (very rare). Best 24 I've been to in LA. There's always pick up basketball games when I'm there too, even when it's crazy late. But it's not 24 hours every day so it gets a 4 star. Staff's really nice and chill too.

Could use more free weights and benches. Second floor could use some adjusting for better space.
Workout areas are clean. People do suck at reracking the weights here so you have to hunt stuff down. Good selection of equipment. Love the lateral cross trainers. Now the bad, the showers are dirty. Toilets lacking toilet paper.
Started going here 1 month ago, lots of cardio (bikes, steps, treadmill ect) and weight machines but it gets crowded at 2-5pm. free weights are all over the place and the locker room is pretty dirty sometimes. It's 24 hours only 3 times a week which is kind of misleading but overall it's convenient for me and it has all the weight machines I need for the exercise recommend by my physical therapist. It's in a great location and you can also see the Hollywood sign from the second floor which is cool i guess
The employee tonight was very rude. He completely ignored asking if we needed help when we were clearly confused. Ignored us and helped the next person that came up after us. Will not be returning here again. And as VIP guests it will get a negative word.
Nice gym but VERY poorly taken care of and staff is rude and acts like you are bothering them by being there.
I swear people of privilege will complain about anything. Ok the parking situation sucks true enough but look at the LOCATION we are on sunset Blvd like chill. I work out during the week after 7 there's free parking on sunset and on the adjacent streets at that time. The gym is cool I like it because it's never to crowded like the other gyms there's beautiful women grazing the weight grounds. The have all the amenities. I have no complaints at all. Sure they could do something about the parking but that's the least of my worries the facility is nice, the workers are about average they speak to you, not only when you checking in so I appreciate that.
This is not a gym. This is scam. They charge to much plus they don't have parking so you have to pay for parking. Bathroom has water every where. Locker room dirty, steaming, humid, musty, and showers don't work. Staff is nice for the most part. The owner of this gym is ripping off members. Stop wasting your money here. Go to a different gym people.this will shut down soon if they don't put AC and do a little remodel in the locker room.
terrible management. I got a 3 day free pass online and they would not let me in due to me getting a 3 day free pass over a year ago. How am I supposed to know if I want to sign up if I can't get a feel for the gym environment and see what equipment they have. The man who said he was in charge was incredibly rude and clearly lacked the knowledge of what's important when signing up for a gym. You should at least hire people that are somewhat active.
This is my main club...
Pro > It is a "Super Sport" location, so they give you towels when you walk in...they have a pool, Jacuzzi, steam room & a basketball court...a lot of equipment, a lot of workout machines...good staff....
Con > The parking: essentially a surcharge to your membership ($3 for 2 hours)...now you can buy a drink or something at the Arclight downstairs & validate there to get 4 hours, but that can get pricey week in, week out...
> In other words: a good club for short workouts...BUT if you want to stretch out your workout & actually enjoy all the amenities it'll cost you....
Worst never open gym so called 24hours fitness. How is it 24 hours fitness when it's called more than its open? We flew in and went here at 4am and found that it's called. We waited to open then we went to the lockers, very dirty, humid and old showers. Also you have to pay for parking here. Ridiculous and scum. The next day we canceled our membership with 24hrs and started one with LA fitness. Great showers no need to pay for parking they validate it in full for members.
Run down, locker rooms always hot, and the music never changes...it's ALWAYS hip-hop!
Brought a friend so she can get a membership on Sunday evening.
He lied to her about a free pass (so he took her credit card and added it to my own account... so now he got 2 people paying)
And then he kicked us out of the club because I got a free pass for her online... she said she can't use it because she used to be a member!! But she never was! HE SCAMMED HER AND CHARGED 2 CREDIT CARDS
THEN KICKED US OUT IN TEARS!!!!
He said he will call security and put a freeze to my account. He got promoted ?!?!
SCAM, WILL DO ANYTHING FOR THAT COMMISION.
HORRIBLE AND SHAMEFUL TO WOMEN
Update: I've been told corporate will contact me. They never did. A person like this should be fired and also go to prison for federal crimes. Taking someone card and charging them without their consent is a CRIME
We had a terrible experience with a really rude sales manager Lonny D. We are new to Los Angeles and he was racist, rude and told us we were not welcome to see the gym unless we paid first. He was trying to solicit funds for his own greedy commission. If you decide to join this gym, never deal with Lonny D. He is a poor and greedy salesman with no Idea with how to build relationships with clients. We were looking for a warm welcome but he told us to F off in a style. No doubts with elements of racism in his tone!
