I like the people and the atmosohere keeps me motivated. They can use better upkeep with machines and sauna.
The 2nd floor Equipment needs updating. The staff have been friendly
Enjoy the location and vibe and I've been there for over two years.
The customer service is okay, I had asked them to cancel someone that was under me multiple times and it took over a month for it to be actually cancelled.
I cancelled the membership in the beg of march, never received an email or call, found out the person who said they cancelled the membership never cancelled so I was charged for that month. So I went up there and wanted my refund and it to be cancelled, said it was cancelled at that moment, but then I was charged annual fee for the person under me. I constantly would have to call and go up to the gym to talk to someone and I kept getting " we will call you and email you", not once did I receive a call back or email. I FINALLY was able to get it in writing by Gus there (very nice) and I appreciate that but there needs to be a change in how they handle issues like mine because the fact that they do not get back to you at all is very unprofessional.

Has to be one of the worst 24s I've even been to. Everytime I come in here it's so poorly maintained. Management, please be on top of these things:
1. Team members do not greet as people walk in or are very selective to whom they greet. They seem to chill and talk amongst themselves. Oh how can this be there is so much they could clean and organize.
2. Cleanliness and organization. Its non existent here. Nuff said. Please encourage your team to proactively clean as they go or be aware of their surroundings. The GO class had to be one of the dirtiest I've ever seen. For a slow day, you would think someone would spend some time cleaning it?
3. Schedule appropriateness. I went to two classes, they were both over 10 minutes late. If there is no discipline among team members, why should there be any with instructors ? They were friendly, but very late, but finished the class on time. I feel cheated out of my classes, I always look forward to them. Please discipline your entire team to be on time.
Other than that, its okay. Gets the job done. But as an overall gym, its below mediocre. There is no management here. For a gym that's not 24 hr, standards should not only be met, but should be higher. Management team, get it together !!! I believe in you to bring this gym to greatness.

The place is pretty crowded during the weekday but virtually empty on the weekends. I find it funny that the place is named "24 hours fitness" and the place is not open 24 hours. The bathroom is disgusting and I only use it when I really need to go. Out side of that, normally there tends to be plenty of cardio machine available for anyone that wants to use it. There is a full size basketball court, swimming pool and a sauna.
Love this gym when they were open 24 hrs now has become 18 hrs gym so they should change the name of the gym as well.
Overall! Staff is great! Couldn't ask for better service!! I can't complain about the Team!
The Fitness center is my problem! Old machines, Doesn't look clean, nor are their up to date. Could of been 5 Stars if new equipment was available, some members are rude, but is the area I guess.
It's cleanliness is average, I've seen the saunas cleaned nightly and bathroom cleaned routinely so I'm resting it average. It doesn't appear spotless, in definite need of upgrades in comparison to others I've visited.
They are making changes and its obvious upgrades are in process.
As for convenience and good customer service I give them 4stars.

First off let me say ive had a membership with 24 hour fitness for over 4 years... ive been to many locations. This used to be my favorite location till the end of 2017 to now.. the employees there especially the short stubby one with the poof poof pom pom poneytail man shes rude and unprofessional! The security guard is a jerk at night.. and oh yeah they arent open 24 hrs anymore... i now go to the torrance location because of this.. it sucks that im inconvienaced just because of the security guard being a jerk, the front desk receptionist being unprofessional, the saunas and pool area are gross, and the fact they close at 12am... they need to either hire a new employees or re hire people who used to work there. Totally disappointed! Ive never had problems there until now!
I went in to sign up myself and my family. Once I checked in, Lorena was my assigned sales rep. I was interested in four memberships, but her lack of professionalism was offputting. I went to LA fitness directly after and had a much better experience. I would not suggest giving this location business. l love my new gym and the employees at LA fitness.
24-Hour Fitness makes a person who is not in shape the whole purpose of going to the gym feel very uncomfortable the staff there are just as stuck up as the people that's there. They charge you more money then your original membership I pay for my monthly membership on the day it was due and about time my bill came around I had to pay double because of this annual fee and all which I was surprising so I don't really like 24 Hour Fitness I go because I like the classes I don't like the staff they are rude as hell.
24 hour fitness became 18 hour fitness and because of this I have to try to wedge this into an already busy schedule. The gym is almost always packed, making it very difficult to get a full workout in consistently. I'm almost certain the money they've saved on labor will not go towards more equipment.
Clean and nice gym . Only thing is they close at 11pm but everything else is great .
It's always good at this 24 hour fitness. This club is my favorite.

Clean location with a good selection of both weight and cardio machines. Good news is there is a pool, bad news is the pool only has two lanes. Ample parking is in a nearby structure that you need to pull a ticket to get to and validation for it is easy to obtain at the machine by the front desk. Unfortunately they have recently reduced the hours here and this location is no longer open 24 hours
The classes are always fun, but I wish the cleanliness was better maintained. ALOT of people pay for their memberships for the restrooms to look like a rest stop bathroom. Other than that, the staff members are very friendly.
July 2017 will be ten of membership at this 24 fitness. I have met nicest people to workout here, However utterly disappointed by the management of this gym.
List goes on unclean bathrooms with no toilet paper and no soap in the showers, filthy steam and sauna. Broken equipment and sometimes weeks past and their is none fixing it.
Today arrived at 7am and there were people waiting since 6am and none there to open the gym till 7.30am .while more than 30 people waiting.
None wants to be accountable when the question is asked.
If this scenario played out beach cities or Hollywood or other places
Someone take some action.
Just because it's on slauson none cares.
If the 24 fitness upper management read and care for their customers.
Most like I'd be canceling and moving to LA fitness.
Small a lot of stairs and some strange and rude people..... staff seemed ok, but the members.....not so much. I'm being polite.
Clean bathrooms and showers!!! Most of the times I've come it's been quiet and I love it. Work out in peace. Get to use trainer equipment without a problem
I've never had a gym membership before so I have no comparison but, so far, I don't have much complaints. I pay $40 a month which I think is pretty decent (?) since I can only compare it to my cousins $10 in Planet Fitness and my friend's ridiculous $180 in Equinox. I've been to both and I feel like they all look the same. I also get classes perks - the problem is if I will actually get in one of those.
Distance wise, it's the closest to me so it makes sense. I can literally walk there but since it gets dark early now, I have to drive. But it's also not bad because they have validated parking for, I believe, 3 hours.
Con, sort of:
I brought my beau in one time to try their three-day trial membership but the sales rep tried to get him in so hard. Not even mentioning the trial membership as if it's not an option anymore. He's so stoic though and there was no way he can be persuaded into buying something so they failed. Me, on the other hand, obviously got tricked into getting in.
I do feel like I got a good plan though. I just wish I come in more often so I can maximize what I'm paying for. Obviously that one's on me.
I like that I get good views since I'm usually just on the treadmill anyways. I also like that they provide some cleaning stuff (napkins and spray) for the next user. Kinda wish the smell's a bit better but hey, that's not on them.
