I've visited this gym thrice in the past three years. This past week I've gone about 8 days in a row and my rehabilitation has been electric and enjoyable. Maximillian is awesome, Mona I believe is also cool as ice, the trainer Johnny is a beast, and yoga instructor Beth is clairvoyant and an angel.
I'd say though, let's work on tightening up the Basketball Court.

Why is there barely any free weights under 10 lbs available on the first floor, the weight room for people to use. It's not that other people are using them and they are not available, it's because the gym barely has any. Can management please answer this question?
I can only give it 2 stars only because There's not a lot of people here I only come to this gym because its on way from work otherwise I would never even bother coming to this gym this gym its dirty lot of homeless people. But I guess it's to be expected because it is North Hollywood and the staff never does anything here they don't clean up they don't do nothing, No paper towels to clean the equipment off
It's a good gym...but why the $41 price point? What if I don't want the pool or the classes? If I'm just coming in to use the bench and the treadmill, why can't I pay what all the other 24hr gyms cost? You lost this customer to LA Fitness today because of your inflexible price points, and poor marketing communication, which had led me to believe every 24hr was $30-something, not $40-something, per month.
Overall this 24 fitness is great. Its open only 2-3 years so all the equipment is new and well. The 4 start is because sometime I feel that its been a place for homeless to come and take a shower or get worm, and I am not always feel comfortable.
I'm here 3 to 4 times a week so constant reviews not necessary. The biggest issue is user gym etticate. You should not try to grab multiple pieces of equipment when you can only use one at a time. Please please please.
Pros:
*The equipment is varied and modern enough.
*They provide towels, a big plus because the Sherman Oaks 24 does not.
*Parking is convenient, again a plus compared to the Sherman Oaks 24.
Cons:
*Lot's of homeless people around, so the parking garage smells like urine
often. Not 24's fault, but it is what it is.
*Gym is somewhat small, so if you go between the hours of 4pm-7pm, good luck trying to have an efficient workout.
*This place is basically a gay club. Plenty of dudes who seemingly go to the gym primarily to stare directly at other men, as if they haven't eaten in days, and you're a big greasy cheeseburger. They also use the mirrors in an attempt to hide their staring, but they're not as clever as they think (it's quite obvious). So if you like being eye candy for a bunch of voyeuristic dudes, this is the place to be.
The Gym: Super Sport location. Very well maintained. Good equipment. Love the floor plan.
The Service: I have some membership issue, the Club Manager, Stacey and staff, Patrick are super helpful resolving the problem. They are very friendly and listen to my issue and fix it within a few minutes. Customer service #1!!
The Parking: There is parking structure right outside they gym, walking distance less than a minute. The gym validate the parking too!!

Clean and all machines work but 1 hack squat machine. I go between 12:00 AM - 4:00 AM so it's mostly empty with the same regulars. Front desk staff nice, towels available.
Pool, spa, sauna, upstairs cardio equipment, upstairs studio room, downstairs weights and circuit training area and basketball court and daycare center! I didn't realize how perfect this specific 24 hour fitness was until I visited some others. This one has everything! Even adjacent parking with validation! Even when it's packed, there's always room, because it's huge! Just when I was going to complain that they didn't have enough rowing machines, they bought two new ones! Come in and check it out.
Great attentive staff. They always have fresh towles on deck. Bathrooms need some love but its not their fault that some ppl are pigs.
You have to pay more money just because they let you use a towel, the staff acts like they were the perssonal trainners of actors, stupids
Too much too much. The price is fair but you get what you paid for. Best time is to go in the morning when the place is empty.
Thank you very much Jiovanni for the impressive first time tour and also for helping me choosing the right plan. Highly recommended!
I'll preface this by saying I really like 24hr fitness. The majority of their facilities have proven to be well run, kept clean, and never too busy. However, this 24hr fitness is hands down one of the worst I've ever been too. Having recently moved to LA it was nice to know this particular 24hr fitness was walking distance from my apartment. Little did I know that after my week trial I would never want to step foot in this gym again. After each workout of that week I was disgusted by the sheer lack of gym etiquette everyone lacked. Apart from people taking 5 set's of dumbbells to "super set" It was god damn impossible to find any free standing weight with out having to venture around the entire gym looking for a missing dumbbell that you may never find! And if it's not simple enough to re-rack your weight, the gym is grossly littered with trash and towels people decide to leave behind. I was also advised by a previous employee to not set foot in the pool or sauna, for people seem to lack proper hygiene when traveling between the gym and pool space. From what I saw during my time at this gym, its full of people looking to socialize and leisurely go about their workout without a single care of those around them. So If you're looking to get your workout in and leave without disruption I would highly recommend you save your time and money by taking your business elsewhere. BUT if you DON'T like re-racking your weight, getting a good workout, or putting towels and trash in labeled bins then this is the perfect place for you.

I've been a 24 hour fitness member for about a decade now, across both coasts. This Location is convenient for me as it's in walking distance from my apartment. But if it wasn't, I would have no reason to go here and I can't imagine the people who have to find parking in a cramped underground garage across the street which is used for the apartment complex.
This place is overcrowded, dirty and about half of the machines in the cardio area are broken. People leave their dirty towels on the floor, on the machines and all over the bathroom. Nobody is cleaning them up, they stay their until the midnight shift rolls around. The gym is at capacity at almost any time of the day, even if you go towards midnight it is still overcrowded. The staff are younger and it's clear that they don't care. People spit in the water fountains, which are also broken all of the time. Nobody reracks the weights, so they sit on the ground in various locations of the gym.
I've had a jacket stolen from me in the locker room. No actual help regarding this, the staff just shrugged their shoulders. There have also been homeless people sleeping on the benches in the bathroom on more than one occasion. Mentioned this to the front desk, and again they just shrug their shoulders.
There needs to be some serious attention and fixes given to this 24 hour fitness. I've been to incredible 24 hour gyms that are clean and the machines are much newer on the east coast. This gym is dirty, overcrowded and too many machines are broken. They may need to open another 24 hour fitness in the area to deal with over capacity here. Clean house with the staff and start over.
I have been a member of 24 hr fitness for years, and have been going to this one for a little over a year. This place has a ton of deferred maintenance, from TV's not working (since I've been going here), and machines being inop for extended amounts of time. There is never any towels, which I know seems petty but it's a super sport not a regular 24hr fitness location. So that's supposed to be one of the advantages right? The customer service is spotty as well. The place just needs some money put back into it.
One of the best 24s in the world. Like for real, for real... besides the leaky roof on the basketball court lol but it hardly rains in LA so that's a plus.
Being open 24 hours is a huge convenience for me. Plus the place clears out a lot after 11. If you plan to come when it's not busy and don't mind moving equipment around it's a great location to work out.

Large 24 hour Fitness location. On Lankershim Blvd. big multi lever parking structure with red lips emojis painted on it :) the place is huge with variety of equipments and people. This location - unlike the one in Glendale -is actually available 24/7. Nice and clean location. Towels are available at this location, has pool basketball court good customer service and professional staff.

I went to take a mean dump today, and let me tell you, it was a MISSION. So first, I opened the one of four stalls, only to come to the realization that there was no toilet paper, along with piss all over the seat, along with used toilet paper stuck on the opening part of the butt seat thingy that goes up and down with a skidmark. Also, there was toilet paper and hand rags all over the floor, along with piss. It smelled like cheese covered asparagus that had been marinating In a pot with a bunch of rotten shrimp. I had no toilet paper, and literally had to ask a guy in the stall for some to wipe everything down. If I could explain what it looked like, it looked like a gardener took a leaf blower to town and blew everything all over the place and then proceeded to use a weed whacker to chop up all the toilet paper into small pieces. I will be calling corporate to explain my ordeal and hope to God things change real quick because this is absolutely unacceptable.
Gio and Patty do a great job in tidying up the place at night. They make sure to hit every crevice , i see them hustle during my long swim. Service Rep Erik and Eraldo make sure to keep the place safe from wanderers or sleepers. Overnight crew is always excellent from my experience
Look, I like it. It's close. They have towels. It's a gym.
Problem is, it can get crowded and not everyone there is courteous. People leave weights and towels on the ground. There are even times that people don't wipe benches after they use it, despite the courtesy towels provided.
This aside. It's decent gym.

The facilities are quite good but the staff are not very friendly. Today was the first time Simone has ever said hi back to me.
Sadly the bathroom/changeroom are disgusting and the never fix anything. 4 of the shower stalls were out of order today. 4 out of 8 is not good. Rarely are they filled with spa either. They have a towel service good but at least twice a week they run out and it takes over an hour to replenish the supply.
Busiest place from 6am - 11pm. I cant event get a set in since there are 2 other groups using the same machine. #neveragain
Equipment is up to date. Showers are neglected. Staff needs to walk around and ask the customers if they are ok instead of hanging out at the front counter. They do offer towels upon your arrival.
Super crowded. Weight area is super scattered and just a mess. I spend more time trying to find 2 dumbbells that are the same weight, than actually lifting. Only 2 squat racks and they are always taken!
Bathrooms are quite dirty as well.
Not a great gym, but gets the job done.
Love the location BUT they definitely need more staff. The AC unit has been broken for a while. A lot of the exercise machines are not working.
Dirtiest SuperSport gym I've ever been to. There's almost never any towels available and that's because they're stacked 7 feet high in the locker room. Staff was not too helpful. I just moved to LA and I didn't know where the locker room was and the front desk ignored me when I said I had a question. I guess talking to your fellow staff about how fat you've gotten is more important than customer service. Patrons are constantly walking into the sauna and steam room with shoes and the weights are hardly ever available and scattered all over the place besides the racks. I give it two stars simply because the pool is always free and there seems to be a regular stream of C-list celebrities working out.
