Varied experience depending on location you visit or use frequently
Probably the worst location in all of LA. It's underground with poor ventilation. Always smells sweaty and gunky. Maintenance doesn't change out the light bulbs so half the room is always dark and always a few machines not working.
facility is a bit runned down and old but on the positive it isn't crowded so I don't have to wait long for the equipment

Decent big box gym. Hours aren't actually 24 hours a day 4 days a week which is stupid, most equipment could use a revision its all ancient but decent quality for most part except fot Olympic barbells, the bars are too skinny.

Great gym but some people just don't get safety and gym etiquette at times.
I like this gym because it's cool, dark, and quiet. It's underground and I can't stand gyms with windows and sunlight. Yes I'm a vampire. I also can't stand noisy gym patrons, they only have one guy here that is always screaming and clapping like an animal, you'll know who I'm talking about. The gym and equipment look like it's from the Saved by the Bell days but they work just fine. The gym is pretty clean. Prima Donna's on here and complain but it's beverly Hills and you'll find people like that there. I enjoy this gym a lot and was really saddened when the powers that be cut down the trees in the front. That's a mortal sin for sure. Peace.

Good location. Could be a little bit cleaner, but equipment works well. Steam/sauna/shower work well. Diverse mix of people there, and everyone seems to get along well. If you go, park in the pay garage or make sure that you avoid parking out front on the street during certain hours as they tow.
While this isn't the nicest nor the largest 24 in Los Angeles, it has everything you need to have a great workout. The staff that work at this location are very friendly, and I never feel like anyone is there to "stand around and look pretty." Parking is validated for the garage next door, so take advantage of that if you decide to visit this location!
I only go there because it's convenient for me. Close to work. If you're looking for a clean, well run gym, look elsewhere. If you just need some weights and basic machines, it works..... barely!
Typical 24 he fitness gym. Nice and clean
I only go to this location for the racquetball courts. My wife and I go and play about the time a week. Whenever I do go to play I also workout. Isn't ever too crowded here. Nothing compared to the Super Sport on 31st Street. It is under ground though and has low ceilings so if you get catastrophic, this might not be the best place to workout. Ventilation is sometimes bad (not sure if it has to do with the AC system they have) and can leave the place with a really bad smell. Locker rooms are good at best. You also have to pay for parking. They do validate but you still have to pay around $2. I usually only go when the metered street parking or front is free (after 8).
Outdated facilities, but staff and instructors are A+. Guess the time capsule isn't than bad then ;)

Cons
-Bad smell, poor air flow/quality
-Very dirty non sanitary
-In a creepy basement
-30% of equipment non functional
-Like a maze of horrors
Pros
-Really tests your dedication to fitness
-If you want to stay in shape while being "underground" this is the place -they haven't painted it another color called it a "Super Sport" and charged twice as much yet.
-if you are working out here consistently it would force you to re-evaluate your life decisions.
Visited as a guest today. Other reviewers commented about how filthy out of. It didn't seem dirty to me or the many people working out tonight. I did not check out the bathroom or showers but overall the locker room seemed fine. Plenty of machines, weights, and 3 racquetball courts.
This is considered the "Beverly Hills" location. There's nothing Beverly Hills about it. It's run down, equipment is old, it's not very well lit, it smells a bit, and is literally located in the basement of an office building.
The weight room and a basketball court were closed down because a pipe burst and flooded the place. That was probably the best thing that could have happened! It forced me to go to the Ocean Park location and the Hollywood location. Those are AMAZING! They provide you with towels, the staff is friendly, they smell nice, and have new equipment. That is probably why EVERYONE and their mom goes there! If waiting in line to use any type of equipment, those are the places for you!
When this location opened back up, I realized how great it really is! I can literally walk in, and start working out immediately and not have to worry about waiting to use any equipment there. Even when it's busy, it's not that busy. All the disadvantages of this place actually work to your advantage if all you really care about is working out!
Bottom line: if working out is your #1 priority, this is the place for you. If waiting in line for the newest and best is your thing, go somewhere else!
