I found this place very offputting. As soon as I walked in the door, Abel, the director, peppered me with personal questions about my earnings. I suspect it was to find out if I could afford their rather expensive program. Then, after viewing their facilities, I politely inquired about the possibility of a reduced membership price for someone who only wants to train once or twice a week. Able seemed to get upset at the question and lose interest in soliciting my business at that point. The overall impression I got was that this place is, above all, a mill, designed for making as much money as possible from as many high income earners as they can get in the door. They're concerned first about making money, and maybe second or third about teaching people who sincerely want to learn self defense skills. In all fairness, it is a nice, new, clean facility with, I'm assuming, qualified instructors. But, it definitely didn't have the friendly vibe I was looking for to begin my martial arts/self-defense training. I will definitely be looking elsewhere.
