Pros: Great front desk. They brought in some new equipment this past year.
Cons: Towels are not provided. Some of the press machines have taken a beating,
The front desk representatives are friendly and the equipments are okay.
The place is way too crowded and not properly maintained. The parking is a hassle. I was never told that I had to get my ticket validated in order to get free parking so I got charged $9 for one hour parking on my first visit. ABM Parking whom 24 hour fitness is partnered with is terrible at communicating.
Bryony was very helpful/knowledgeable about the company. Super Hospitable and just awesome all around! My favorite 24hr.
Went to work out at there this morning to help out a friend with some techniques to lifting. Was approached by Natalie Nichols (fitness manager) and was told I was not able to train a friend, and that I had to work out with my friend. She told me that it was OK to teach lifting techniques but I had to exercise with my friend. I then continued to teach my friend how to squat, and was showing her how to do it. Not even 5 minutes later Natalie, came back and said she was calling security on us to have us escorted out because I was "training".
We then talked to the "gym manager" with how rude Natalie was, and she said that they don't kick people out unless 2 managers see that there is an issue. Even though only one manager saw the issue, she was willing to kick us out. Only when I disagreed with getting kicked out, did she let us stay to only use the cardio equipment.
Horrible customer service!
Who ever the front desk person was on 10/27/19 at 6-7pm should be given praise and or a raise. She was very helpful with questions and overall very pleasant. 10/10 customer service. I am visiting from out of town and had a great experience at this 24, clean organized and they even have squat racks with bumper plates.
I attend the swim classes I have lost weight, but the client b doesn't seem to care about Seniors much... caters to young people
It's nice that with validation yet 2 hours free parking

Great place to work out. Everyone is very friendly, both staff and other guests.
It is three stories and quite large, so I never have a problem finding the weights/machines I want to use.
Pool only has 3 lanes, but it is well maintained. Not too much chlorine like some places.
Overall, I would recommend to a friend.
Please note, they only validate for 2 hours (it's in a mall where you have to pay for parking). So that's kinda lame if you like to stay at the gym for a long time.

I have had plenty of issues with the billing, and they need to fix a few pieces of equipment.. It is still a Great Place to workout, and the Management Team is Great!

I was at the gym on Saturday night around 7pm with my friend. I took him there to introduce to my gym. When I asked the front desk lady (I think her name was Alissa) for a free day pass she refused to provide a pass and asked for 25 dollars!!! My friend is a California resident. I asked for the manager and she said she is in charge. She coverd her badge when i asked her name. I am a member of this gym for over 6 years and i have never experienced such an unprofessional and none welcoming attitude.

I was in town for a conference and did not want to use the hotel gym so I came to this location. I am from Texas and have an all sport membership, thought I might as well use it while in Cali. I specifically checked on google maps and ruled out another 24 hour fitness as it was an ultra-sport, this club did not specify the level so I assumed it was a sport. I showed up and attempted to log in and got the "see receptionist" message. She said "sorry, you only have an all sport package, this is a super sport" I asked what I could do and she said I needed to upgrade, paused for a while and begrudgingly said I could work out this one time here . So, I proceeded to work out at this location, all I have to say is "wow". The equipment was extremely run down and models so old I haven't seen any like it in any Texas 24 hour fitness. the general appearance of the club was also quite run down in general. This "super" sport would never pass for even a sport club in Texas!

For a "super sport" the locker room is straight trash. Waaaaaaay too small with all the offices/ apartments around it, even on a weekend. If it wasn't by a bunch of office buildings and had a pool, it'd be an active. The active off Irvine Blvd has a better locker room. Machines are ok, even if older as some have said.
Staff has been pleasant every time I have been there, hence the 2 stars.
Honestly, I don't know why the gym is rated so low. The equipment is more than enough to knock out whatever workout you want. The bathrooms are clean and have saunas (that's big time). The gym itself is a little old and so is the equipment so if you feel like thats the problem, just upgrade to the one on Anton Blvd. The staff is friendly and most of the people working out are pretty respectful
The only problem with this location is parking a 2hr limit. I love the outdoor jacuzzi. I workout in the pool. So I take 2 showers plus steam room so 2hr parking is not enough time 4 me without feeling rushed.
This place has everything I need and is usually not to crowded. The only down side about this gym are the Men's locker/restroom everytime there a horrible odor ,Guys leave the hair after shaving on the sink, I open a stall and was backed up and had a giant turd it was the most disgusting thing ever! Overall the gym is good just the restroom are disgusting!
This place need a RENVATION and UPGRADE! More than 75% of the equipment have something wrong with them and some are just decorative or to fill the spot. Its truly one of the worst gym I've ever been too.
needs a upgrade this place is falling apart. equipment is old, always something broken. feels old and outdated. I try and go to the on on Atlanta in Huntington when I have the time. a lot nicer. Does not live up to South Coast name
Dirty-ass gym that has been abandoned and neglected by its owner while they continue to rake in money from it.
It is truly one of the worst gyms anywhere in terms of cleanliness, broken equipment and parking.
Water in the bathrooms barely trickles out of the faucets slower than urine out of a 90-year-old man's dehydrated bladder. Absolutely no excuse for such low water pressure. What ARE we actually paying for with this gym?
Some gym employees are nice and friendly, while others are rude and don't give a rat's ass about being bothered to acknowledge you when you walk in.
If you have any other option for another 24 Hour Fitness in the area, use it, this one is awful.

Not my favorite gym to workout at, but do go here out of convenience. Cardio and weight room are on separate floors, making it hard to do circle trainings that involve using both. Front desk staff is hit or miss, most of the time unfriendly. My biggest complaint is I have to ask for towels every time! Rather than having them ready, as expected.
