Awsome gym. Smaller. Not crowded. Staff is awsome and actually says hi or least smiles. Gym events and challenges. Weekly healthy recipies.
EDIT:
Unfortunately, I have to decrease the stars down to 3. Partially my fault, partially theirs. The employee, explained to me that they have different plans (I believe 9 month, 12 months, 15 months, something along those lines) and the longer the contract, the lower your monthly payment. Before I signed up, I asked what the process is for canceling the membership, any fees? any thing I have to send in? anything at all? She stated no, all you have to do is call in, say you want to cancel, return your key fob, and then you'll be cancelled starting that day. I knew and explained that I was planning on moving away from the area within a few months so since there is no cancelation process other than calling in and returning your key fob, i might as well sign up for the 15 month contract. I clearly mentioned that it was odd that there is no process to cancel yet they still used the term "contract"
Come months later, I walk in to the facility to return my key fob and cancel, one of the team members takes my card, and hands me a card to call their third party company that handles all their membership fees etc. Caught me off guard be cause I was originally told just call in and turn in my fob. Anyways, I go along with the gig and call ABC Financial, they give me a list of stuff I have to turn in to legally cancel my membership, complete opposite from what I was told.
Took me 2 months to actually submit what was needed mainly because I was moved out of state and it took a while to get what they requested. Im still waiting to see if they will approve my cancelation or not. I can't even use the gym facilities while I wait. 1) I turned in my key fob 2) the nearest facility is completely out of the way from where I now live.
So in the end, the gym is a great by all means, small but not crowded tons of equipment, people are nice; however, don't let the staff deceive you thinking you can easily break contracts, there is a little salesman tactic for ya. I understand it is a business and they make money on those contracts, but I do wish they were much more honest with me as I was with them about my situation. I probably would have approached the situation a bit differently had I knew canceling was a tad bit more complicated that calling them and letting them know, would have saved me $120.
Nonetheless, I do have to blame myself because I did foolishly sign away without fully reading the contract agreement.
