Awful quality compared to Navajo Rd and Santee locations.

This is the only 24 hour fitness in El Cajon...not worthy of the Super Sport title. When you come in or leave they dont even greet you. The machines are often broken and outdated, the paper towels were empty an entire two weeks, bathrooms are dirty. This gym no longer has towel service but prices are the same..go elsewhere your money will definitely be spent better.

Dry sauna. If you aren't going to enforce a no shoe policy. Then take down the sign. Ya? Then I don't take off my shoes while others track in whatever is on the bottom of their shoes that rapidly mutiply in the dry heat , gross man. Where's the management on this one ?

It's OK to workout, but they have to pay more attention to the cleanliness of the place, and the customer service needs to be better.

very nice workout center. I love the classes especially. It is never over crowded at the time I go, because I do not go at 5 p.m. on a work day. The staff is friendly and helpful, also.

Big. Has day care. Has lap pool an all equipment. Great gym, not too expensive.

tried to go as a guest, they wanted $25. No exceptions. Signed up for a 3-day trial online. Wouldn't let me go in with my friend, wanted to make me wait until 9 when a subscription counselor was available to try to sell me. I just wanted to try out the gym and they weren't very understanding at all.

Very clean and not over crowded. The locker room is very nice. Pool area looks nice.

The place is nice enough but the staff isn't interested in helping a paying member learn the machines or make a workout plan, unless you buy one of their over-priced trainer packagss!

Better policy enforcement would be nice and staff needs to be stricter.
Showers are meh as they are not clean and usually missing soap in the evening.
This is a very mix neighborhood 24hrs fitness, so you see things that will surprise you.
Many people are blind to their own advantage and ignoring the signs even though it's very visual with images and in their language with bright colors.
For example not entering sauna with shoes or don't throw 100lb dumbbells, or take your sweaty towel off the machines when you are done working out.
Culture gap can be felt like slap in the face!
Recently added: uncivilized people, leaving trash and towels all over the place!
Sometimes towel bins are overflowing.
Every month or so 5-6 treadmills are broken for extended periods of time until they are fixed.

The exercise equipment seems to be alright. I say seems, because the salesperson helping me sign up was busier selling me on it then letting me try it, and I left. I really wanted to go to this gym as it would have been convenient for me, but the sheer sales pressure made me very uncomfortable. My membership was going to be a gift from a friend, and the salesperson actually said that if they really care about me, they'll pay for me to have personal training sessions too. Gross. Slow your roll and spend some of that energy cleaning or something, that's how gyms get and keep customers.

This location has the worst customer service. I went to this location to open a membership, Riley Sander took us to start the membership I asked him if he can take cash or credit card he said both. He said I can take the cash I just need a credit card on file. Two days later I got a call from the gym saying that I need to make a payment because I haven't paid anything yet. This is supposed to be the sales manager who charged us. Shocked at the unprofessionalism of how he "forgot" to charge us at the front desk and couldn't remember if he took our money or not. Please dont waste your time or money here.

I love it's convenience. Wish they had some more advanced machines like I see at other gyms. The entire staff is so friendly!

Why you invite ppls for 3 days free pass while you dont give it in real !! you just got all my information and thats it ?stop cheating ppls just to let theme sign up your gym is too expensive ,i went to the one in main street in elcajon and the assistance manager refused to give me my 3 days free ,bad customer service

Plenty of equipment even when it's busy. The locker rooms and floors are very clean. Some of the cardio equipment could be cleaner but it's not the worst I've seen. The staff is very friendly and the towels are always plentiful.

In town for business, so decided to see what 24hr fitness is all about, i go online and applied for 3day a pass, upon completion i received a call from a manager (Junior) about starting a membership, and scheduled a 10:00pm appt time to talk about membership options. I show up only to be told by the front desk clerk (Victor) that there is manager there during that time, and he apologized that i was given false information. Fine it is what it is, then i showed him my email confirmation for the 3day pass, that's when he told me there was nothing he can do about the 3day pass although i had an email confirmation. He said he was not allowed to issue out any passes after 10:00, and that the 3day pass is to get you in to speak to a sales person. Talk about a frustrating day. Ill stick to Planet Fitness and look for a secondary gym elsewhere...

I liked it until I showed up with my 2 kids ready for the kids center and it was closed. I had my husband drop me off and I couldn't reach him so I had to walk home 2 miles with 2 small screaming kids. One of which, too little to walk on his own. I never returned. No apology, no warning.

Been going to this location since 2013. Very big and high ceilings are supported with extremely powerful AC system. They have every machine you can think of, even if it's a rare one, they have a variety of equipment for cross-fits. Unlimited towels is their best quality, also clean and always cleaners walking around. There is rush hours but never too packed to the point of missing what you came for. Rate goes up about once a year, so if you thinking about joining, do it quick!

Super sport allowed us to use once (with 'normal' club access membership - so that was cool!!! BUT - The only difference in this and a 'normal' club is they provide towels... which basically make the place a mess. Locker rooms were not cleaner, equipment was the same... nothing different. Actually - my girlfriend found 4 broken cardio machines in a row! (that were not labeled).

There are better 24 Hour Fitness gyms in other States but they have some good things there and it's pretty clean. they need new stair climbers though. very old.

I have been a member of this gym since it opened and the standards of cleanliness of facility, lack of maintenence of equipment and machines are at an all time low. Bathrooms are filthy, showers and sinks are constantly out of soap. Very disappointed.

Nice gym, but sometimes it's not the cleanest or has supplies in stock. Equipment usually works, but pool has some issues once in awhile.
