My family 100% recommends EDJ Corona! My son has trained with them for about 3 years now! They just moved to a larger location that is awesome! It has given him so much more then martial arts training! From life lessons, to self defense, to anti-bullying, respect, discipline, confidence, being helpful to others, even something as simple as shaking hands and making eye contact. I was so nervous in the beginning because my son was very rambunctious but he has become more and more focused as time has passed and we are very thankful he has and second family he loves!

5 stars. Amazing coaches, amazing location. It is clean++. It is a very welcoming place for all ages, and you will quickly feel like part of a family. I came down for a week long training camp and am aching to come back. It is a place great for kids (and adults) to learn a useful life skill that also teaches respect and discipline. Do yourself a favor and just try it out...you wont be disappointed...except for that you didnt try it earlier. Great job team. !
World class jiu jitsu Instruction in a safe and friendly environment
This academy is amazing! It doesn't matter what your goals, whether you want to be a competitor, learn self defense, or just get fit you'll reach your goal and more. Professor JP is an excellent leader. The additional coaches mirror professor JP's ethics in coaching and and create a safe environment for all levels. The team feels like family the moment you walk through the door and I'm proud to be a part of this family!
I just moved to the area looking for a new academy. When I tried this place out from day one everything clicked. Professor Juan Pablo is an outstanding instructor,very kind and friendly. The curriculum is very informative and also intense as well when it comes to fitness. I highly recommend this place. It is very family oriented and the environment is a very friendly welcoming atmosphere .
Professor JP and his coaches are outstanding! Such care is given to training the children. Not only the physical training but also sitting the kids down for "mat chat" to talk about things like respect and confidence. My kids love going to class!!

This jiu jitsu gym is not consistent with their coaches and they focus more on games than actually teaching jiu jitsu to the kids. I would NOT recommend this jiu jitsu gym.

School with one of the best Jiu Jitsu Master of USA. Good teachers, good teaching methods. And a total follow-up during class.
I would run away from the academy as fast as possible. They talk a big game but in the end they only care about getting as much money from you as possible. They pretend to teach about integrity, family and morals but when you get down to it, they are good a lip service and not much else.
Peerless, Checkmat and Gracie have better programs. I know people that left PTT and gone to all three academies and are happier and receive quality training and not lip service.
I'm sure Bryan Giroux likes PTT. That is where he picks up on married women. Stay away from Bryan Giroux, he is one of the reason people left the academy. He doesn't mind sleeping with married students.

Amazing Jiu-Jitsu Academy! I am currently visiting California for a couple of months and training with professor Juan Pablo Garcia and Pacific Top Team. From the moment I walked in people were very friendly and welcoming.
The athosphere is awesome since you have a bit of everything (different age groups of kids classes, teens, adults begginers, advance and competition training) makes the place seem like a huge family with lots of different Jiu Jitsu goals, but all helping each other to be better at it.
The facilities are also great, with two different mat for different classes. The instructor Juan Pablo is an amazing teacher, very dedicated to his student and loves sharing his knowledge and the different coaches are also all awesome!
I definitely recommend going to a try out class with your whole family or by yourself.

Coach Juan Pablo is one of the best people I have ever met in my life, he has dedicated his life to train with the best all over the world and bring with him the experience needed to make this academy the best in town.
I can't get enough of this place. It's very family friendly and the instruction is top notch. I can honestly say they changed my life. We love our Professor's, it's run so well! All the classes are top notch.
