This place is disgusting! Everytime I go here I see old slimy looking stuff on the ellipticals. The bathroom never has toilet covers, the sink is always filled with hair and the stalls are disgusting. Recently I came in so sign in and the fingerprint scan was really greasy. When I asked could someone clean it off, he shrugged me off and said to use another scanner. Yikes!
Members with Zero Gym Etiquette are the main reason why this gym is so filthy and unorganized. Look around and you will notice that majority have zero respect for fellow members, hog machines for hours and don't return weights.
I don't expect the staff to pick-up everyone's mess, especially a place like this. Management needs to be strict and enforce policies...
Best gym in the Bay Area I have ever been yet. Clean and new perfect equipment. Thank you so much!
This gym really could be improved allot. Machinery is constantly down, and ur never gets properly repaired. I was once seriously hurt by a piece of equipment, the staff didn't seem to care
Rated better than the rest for quiet people and respectful crowd
After the renovation this place is pretty nice. It definitely gets busy in the late afternoon with the after-work professionals and after-school college student crowd since DVC is nearby. Busy or not, this gym is newly refreshed and has all the right equipment!

BODYPUMP with Sabrina was great today!
Great place to lift weights, i would recommend it to anyone. The variety of positions to reach your ultimate goal of body shaping can be achieved here even though i javen't done it yet.

It's open 24 hrs so I try to go early or late because it gets packed. Almost no one used to rerack the dumbbells on the labeled spots. When they renovated the place they just stopped labeling the spots, so now you get to hunt n gather more than ever. A real annoyance, but the price is good if you look for the deals.

Recently remodeled with new equipment, the thing that needs improvement is maintenance of the wet areas.
Went to sign up and toured the gym. Very small and outdated and pool is only 2 lanes. Seemed not well kept and dirty compared to other gyms I've had memberships with.

This place has a very scandalous method of taking your money.
I am a member that prepaid for two years. I brought in a friend that wanted to try out the facilities. What I was told is that he can try it for free and if he did not like it or want to come back then nothing will be charged to my credit card i have on file. Under the condition if he wanted to extend the trial by going again, the next time , it would cost 20$. Then if I was charged 20$ it would count towards the 1 time membership fee and the monthly agreement.
My friend never came back because it isn't maintained to his liking. If you look at other reviews you will see what type of service and commitment the staff has towards the facility. Most negative comments are not exaggerated. They did not collect 20$ but magically I was charged a membership fee. They stopped the extra membership I never consented to, but would not refund the charge. They offered to take off the 9.99$ fee but not the 20$ fee. It seems rather petty for a club to not want to refund per their error. I will update my review to see how the management responds. I have a very bad taste in my mouth and never will bring any potential guests to try. This place is horrible with bad service. Walter is the salesperson that allowed this to happen. The manager was a Japanese lady named Kimiko or something. This is all very unprofessional and I don't encourage anyone to join if this is how they treat clients. I wonder if when verbalizing that they would cancel my membership, if they actually did, or would be shady once more (3rd time). I'm writing to give membership an opportunity to correct their errors and turn a horrible dishonest situation into an almost positive situation. It doesn't seem like they will and I probably will need to remind them for dropping the ball.

Don't waste your time. I tried getting a 7 day guess pass to see how I'd like the gym. I live across the street and figured it would be great because of the location and also my friend works out there. I walked up to the front counter and watched the two of the associates (for about 5 min) chatting about their weekend until one of them reluctantly asked if I needed help. I explained I was looking for a 7 day guest pass to try the gym out and was interested in joining. They rudley dismissed my request saying 3 consecutive days only end of story. I'd rather drive to In-Shape in clayton which is about 20 minutes out of my way than to be disrespected by the rude staff at 24 hour fitness again. I guess business must be good to be treating new customers so rudely. Even my dad who was with me was shocked by how the associate dismissed me so quickly. Negative staff, negative energy stay far away unless your looking for that vibe in the gym.

He literally threw the F bombs like it was something to be proud at. He cussed at me in front of the staff and other gym members. I was publicly cussed at by the the manager himself! I guess Ray gets paid to humiliate all the new folks like me..
And so I was forced to walk out with my head down... never in my life have I been treated so disgustingly rude by an individual who only works at a damn gym..
Please don't come here as you will be pressured to give up your money by Ray.. He's really good with his words but you have to be better to not give in..

Staff here are super unprofessional and rude. I over heard their conversations while checking in and it was so inappropriate that I'm surprised they weren't fired. Staff never greets members checking in and think this place is a party.
It shows in how poorly this place is maintained. I get being young but being welcoming to members and cleaning up is part of the job.
Plenty of parking since it's the mall but really crowded any weekend before 8pm. Also, if you exercise here bring a towel. Many don't and it's gross with their sweat all over the equipment.
