I enjoyed my workout here prior to the epidemic I would recommend Planet Fitness to anyone.
I love planet fitness it's the best been there going in 4 years. It's my gym for life
They dont have the total body enhancement machine at this facility and the cardio area is extremely small. The staff was also unhelpful/slow despite the gym being almost empty; one staff member blatantly ignored me for 10 minutes and two left me waiting at the counter despite making eye contact with me. I will not be returning to this location again nor do I recommend it.
The reason for my one star is do to the poor Front desk customer service and attitude of Jenn Oliver who she calls her self a professional trainer... I have been coming to this gym for quite some time! I usually go early morning around 3am and see the nice hard working staff that are always working hard cleaning the place... That staff I love... But today on Labor Day I encountered nothing but unprofessional staff members and trainers.. As I was super setting and doing box jumps Miss so call trainer Jenn Oliver basically said she was doing a class and needed the box jump and pursed to change the height of my box, I said i only had 3 sets left and told me to take it up with the front desk... And she calls her self professional??? At this point I was upset and told the guy at the front desk and he said i should have looked at the class schedule??? I said to my self wow.... What can these immature college students really do??... They are just on their cell phones, computers and doing nothing but shooting the sh***t... Very different from the hard working morning staff! If only upper management knew how unprofessional the staff at citrus heights really are! Normally the staff will say have a great day as you walk out... Not today! They were only whispering and talking sh**t...

Excellent location and facility. Easy to sign up and absolute ZERO hassle when cancelling membership, which I consider to be a big perk. They don't try to badger you into staying. Only reason we left is another gym was closer and more convenient. Nothing to do with quality of PF.

Good but machines don't get wiped down every time like they should
Love this gym franchise. Travel extensively and frequently and this gym is my go to gym for their black card experience
Good price. Easy to get on the equipment. Not terribly crowded. Clean
I prefer this gym over Cal Fit merely for the fact that all the equipment looks as statically pleasing. It's a judge free zone. Not to mention how affordable it is and all the other perks you get with membership
Not a fan of this location. First thing you see on Google maps is they aren't open 25 hours a day, but then when you go, the sign in front says "staffed 24/7, so that kind of sucks. I base my reviews on shower head quality. Yeah. I travel for work a lot and usually just use the closest planet fitness. They have installed these "water saver" heads. Yeah, we know how good those are. They do it because they are cheap, not because they want to help the environment. It's like showering with a laser gun shooting at you. At least it's not a hot laser, because they have luke-warm water at best, which is a great way to breed foot fungus.
They have these mats that feel and look like kinky pubes (and even managed to stab the sole of my foot at just the right angel), and I guarantee that that is what most of the mat is now made of! It wouldn't be terrible, but they don't have a single shelf to put your things! Put your soap, your shampoo, your shave gel all on that warm, fungusy, pubey, luke-warm green house of a shower floor. No thanks.
I guess the one, if there was, a plus side, is that the shower stalls are HUGE! So of you're a really big person and are concerned about showering space, well you'll certainly be comfortable.
This has to be the most dangerous planet fitness I've ever been to that is this gross. I feel like I'm going to catch something here, so sadly, I have to commute an extra 3 miles to go to one farther south just because it's more convenient (24/7, good showers, open parking lot) and I don't feel like I'm going to catch something there.
I have really enjoyed being a member. I think they have a great variety of equipment. I like the atmosphere. I'm upgrading to the Blackcard member I can bring my daughter as a free guest.
I went in with the intent on getting a membership I had planned on signing online however I figured in person if there was a potential for a rep to get a commission I was open. I spoke with Kelsey who was great gave me a great tour however upon signing up I realized the electronic signature is different than the printed paper. Particularly the $58 cancellation fee. Both Kelsey and manager Jesse tried to assure me that that $58 was not relevant I explained that My Signing that electronic signature would make it relevant and I requested that I sign a paper version so that the $58 would not be included. What started out as a cordial conversation turned into Jesse the manager pretty much dismissing me and moving me along because I wanted an alternative to signing the electronic signature. I was in PF for all of 20 minutes including the tour and getting dismissed.
I had already given my routing number bank number driver's license so again the intent was to purchase however the dismissal without even attempting an alternative such as me signing a paper contract was inappropriate particularly because I was willing I just didn't want to sign the electronic. VERY RUDE and NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL!
It is particularly relevant to me because I'm only temporarily and indefinitely in the area. I primarily live where there aren't any planet finesses in my general area. At this time I'm not sure if I'll be here for 1 month to 3 months so a $58 isn't really strong return of investment if I end up only staying for only one month. Great place. Staff is awesome, very knowledgeable, and they have a trainer there on certain days, if that's something you want to try.
Love price and location. Wish they were open 24hrs on weekends and had better tanning booth rooms. This location doesn't have total body enhancement booth :( been going here for over a year and have never had any issues with safety and security I have never thought people in location appeared low class like other reviewer stated...no contract for membership so for $10 give it a try and you can always cancel if you feel otherwise
Been a member on and off for years. Great staff and you can't eat the price. No classes or pool is the downside. But $10 a month is a great price for circuit training and free weights. All the popular cardio machines and tanning.
I literally don't have too tell you how sad this place is , the staff will kick you out if your attractive or wear a spaghetti top . It is literally the worse place ever ., i came too this place with a girlfriend and I wanted to run out multiple time's because it was so gross and soo full of low class trashy people that don't even know how to clean their selves lol #LiterallySoSad
i am going too stick with my new years resollution and stay at Life Time Athletic in Roseville and continue getting fit and living a healthy life .
if you don't believe me , just look at the review from my friend , Amber Willis . She was ROBBED at this gym and the manager could care less literally . don't be the next one too get robbed or maybe murdered because of all the low class people this place attracts it is literally a ticking time bomb .
I used to love this Gym and only have been to this location a handful of times! But I am now having major issued with Planet Fitness and the way they handle their customers and memberships! I was robbed leaving my last visit to a Planet Fitness! I no longer feel safe going to this gym and planet fitness could care less! They still want me to pay to go a gym I no longer feel safe goin to or pay to cancel my membership! If it were up to me i would like to keep my membership but how is it my fault you put your gym in an unsafe location!

This is my first gym and I love it. The staff is awesome, kind and very helpful. It is very clean and well kept. Machines are up to date and easy to use.
I love the hydromassage beds. The staff is always ready and happy to help with whatever you need.
