Love this place couldn't imagine going to any other gym the employees r all so nice and it's so clean here and coming here has made me stop hating working out now I sometimes look forward to a run or weightlifting here or there
I never feel happy when I come here but that makes total sense cause like it's a gym. But maybe after I feel good cause they r so many opportunities to work out so many different areas of the body and I work on what I need to work on.
Fraud gym, I was silently charged over 100 dollars without me knowing the manager just never get back to you even after I called 3 times. Had to tell the bank to block them.

Hope you don't get Kristen as a member rep should you decide to join this place. I decided against joining because when I called to ask a simple question, Kristen had a really bad attitude, and was rather condescending. Not worth the bother.

As with many members, I was hoping for a new and improved gym. Unfortunately that was not the case. The workout room in the new gym is much smaller. Super crowded and hot! No more Jacuzzi or Steam room. Very disappointed with the new gym :( It looks like the Spa area received more space and the gym side lost less what we had before. Thank God for the West Lake Total Woman Gym! It has everything that i need. I rate West Lake Village gym a 5 STAR *****
Great place to workout at! Really enjoyed and appreciated the classes, especially with Helen, Devin, Jaqui, and Vanessa. TW has an exceptional environment: safe, genuine, and welcoming sense of community. I recommend!
To note, this review is about the NEW Woodland Hills location at the Topanga mall, not the old location at the Promenade which would have received a 4 1/2 - 5 star review from me. I am so incredibly disappointed, as are the many other women I spoke to today at the new facility. I couldn't believe my eyes. To get right to the point:
There is NO jacuzzi.
There is no steam room.
There is no stretch room.
The parking is terrible.
There is no spa-like feel to the gym like the other one had.
The new dry sauna comfortably fits up to two people ONLY (I went in today and there were two other women in there - we were all on top of each other and were incredibly uncomfortable.
How can you take away such staples in a gym like that? Especially when they were at the past location in the same city and this one is brand new! I'm sure I speak on behalf of every woman that attends this gym when saying how incredibly disappointing that is. The gym as a whole feels very cold, masculine and tight. There are hardly any mirrors. They still don't have a good lock in exchange for keys system and they still don't have a good towel system either. Nothing feels open at all. The locker room is ridiculous. Everyone is on top of one another - not spread out like the last location. What happened to the spa-like feel that Total Woman is supposed to offer? The only reason this review got a second star was because of the always great service I receive. All the woman that work there are incredibly friendly and all smiles when you enter. I'm not sure what the purpose of moving to this location was but if their goal was to gain more clientele I can tell you right now it's done the opposite. IF I stay with this gym I will be sure to go to the other locations. I can't believe the rates went up to $45 because of the new location. That just seems like a slap in the face. You take away almost all the important staples in the gym and then you want us to pay more? Again, just so incredibly disappointing.
As with many members, I was hoping for a new and improved gym. Unfortunately that was not the case. I used to love all the classes, especially step and pump, cardio, and body blast. The workout room in the new gym is much smaller and has two large pillars in the middle of the room. Super crowded and hot! The AC still doesn't work, so we have to depend on the fans to cool down the crowded room. The equipment closet is also narrow and it is difficult to retrieve or put away mats, steps, and risers. It seems this gym is plagued with problems. This past week the roof was leaking - more like a waterfall, and the giant puddle soon seeped into the classroom, so we had to lay out towels to keep from slipping. I am hoping they will soon get the "bugs" out, but they have so much to overcome, I have my doubts. I gave it two stars because I am usually a positive person, and I still LOVE the instructors, Sivan, Laura, Judy, and Pam. You don't even want to know what they pay them per class! It is disgraceful, and the good instructors obviously teach for charity. :-)
I went here last weekend for the very first time and I will NEVER go here again!!! I gave two stars because the Massage Therapist was good, but the staff and and the rest of my experience was Horrible!! They didn't explain their services properly to me, or where to go and what to do. It wasn't a relaxing experience going in-- it was stressful and confusing!! They even took me in 10-min late leaving me to wonder while I waited in their waiting room if I was in the wrong place! Then, to add insult to injury, I paid in cash and didn't get a receipt and now a week later they are harassing me with phone calls saying I didn't pay--- I think the gal there pocketed my money!!!

New location is horrible. It's really small even the locker room is small. Definitely double thinking my membership this location was ideal for me since it's so close to work, but I'm not happy with the size of the gym, the layout and the price increase after downsizing the gym.

It's been a nice experience this gym is clean and always smells good. Classes are very good as well. Facilities well maintained and machines repaired in a timely manner.
