I have been going to inshape for about 5 years. I absolutely love the Antioch location and my only complaint is that, because of the Pittsburg closure, there are way too many people now. But other than that, I really enjoy the group classes and machines. There are also many areas to lift free weights or use weighted equipment. There is an outdoor and indoor pool and one indoor hot tub. There is a sauna in the pool area as well. Depending on the time of day it will be hard to find an area with free weights or weighted equipment because there are too many people. The staff has never been my favorite, whether it be this or the Brentwood location. I've never had a problem with them but sometimes it is evident to see that they are not happy and Sometimes they are uncaring. Part of being in customer service is giving...you know, customer service.
They have also recently made some renovations which I don't mind but I know the indoor track was a big seller for some people. In fact, yesterday while working out in that room, people we're walking the perimeter of the room which has now become inconvenient for people using the new area to stretch or lift weights. I personally don't think they should have gotten rid of it. They have also taken out the racquetball courts and made them into workout areas
I joined mid November and was charged for the full month.The guy said that they charge in advance do if i cancel that month i won't be charged. I was charged again December 3 for full month. I cancelled December 30. I was charged again on January 3. I can't get my money back and the worst is that the membership ends before the month is out. I call BS on their policies. They are legitimate scam artists.
Joined last month. Specifically talked to the employee showing me around about wanting to use the walking track. It was the main reason I joined. Due to illness, wasn't able to make my first real visit until today. Was told they removed the walking track about a month ago. No one knew this was happening? I feel very deceived. I'll be canceling.
Great classes! This club has so much to do. The thing I do not like is they have too many youngsters working here they need to keep up on cleaning the pool and restrooms changing rooms especially things are constantly wet and people are slipping always. I will tell you there is a huge difference in the respectful and mature morning, and afternoon pool/gym crowd, compared to the evening and night groups.

I do not like women bringing their little boys into the women's locker room while I'm in there unknowingly changing out of my bathing suit or coming out of the shower in just a towel. I don't think young girls should be in their either. I'd like to know what a child psychologist thinks of this because I think it is really rock n insulting to me n the changing rooms are only 2, usually wet floor n dirty n if I'm caught at my locker, should I run across the room to the changing closets. Moms, GO in the family locker!

There customer service as far as memberships go is ok but there personal training and management suck. I really only go to this gym because we have a family plan and it's close to my house.
The ammenaties are nice, locker rooms good, staff is cool everything is great but they will get you expectantly in the wallet or purse at some point, it's inevitable.

I use to drive 60 miles 4 a week to Antioch Inshape..you train like an athlete there ..some bew, but plenty out dated EQUIPMENT.. new staffing weekly ...no one fully trained, A BIG TURN OVER IN EMPLOYEES.. Morgan hired a few men that clearly bragged being in orison..items stolen regularly from members..men locker broken into, cars stolen out the parking lot .I housekeeping is HORRIBLE, lead does not work in am just socialize or so call train females he pick up on...new janitor Mark is not a people person, lazy, hides, don't work either...management tge wirst. cameras don't lie, but the click (members) do and so dies the in nature general manager CAMERON... and he has staff to go along with this on fighting bull...Morgan gone, a plus.. CAMERON needs to go and InShape bring in a nature person to bring the gym to a higher and better standard..In the 4am house staff keave doors unlocked and HOMELESS MEN BE IN THE POOLS AND SAUNA...I HAVE PICS...mo PROFESSIONALS SERVICE THE POOL. the lead $10.71 an hour does from a previous kead...
In a day and time such as this the average working person doesn't have time to sit in front of a computer writing a horrible review about a gym of all things. Thursday night August 17, 2017 I find myself doing this exact thing. I just had to be truthful about my as well as several of my friends gym experiences at the n'Shape in Antioch on Lone Tree Way. First of all my car was broken into last night August 16, 2017. I was actually informed by a member that was outside arriving at the gym and who witnessed this event happening. He stated that there was a suspicious white BMW 4 door Sedan (5 Series) riding very fast through the parking lot. This is what caught his attention. The car then pulled up on the side of my friend mustang first. I guessed they (at least 2 people) decided not to break into his car for whatever reason. They then pulled in between his and my car and one person got out and proceeded to attempt to break several of my windows before finally breaking my back driver's side window. My wallet and cell phone were stolen. They of course proceeded to make charges with my card getting gas. There was actually another member that was parked near me who's car was broken in as well. This kind of thing is a Epidemic at the Antioch n'Shape. This gym is unsafe for members to park their vehicles. I personally know about 4 members that have had their cars broken into at Antioch n'Shape. I spoke with the receptionist and she stated her car has been broke into 3 times at this location. I also spoke with the manage today August 17, 2017 at 12:30 pm and he stated that his car had been broken into as well. Another staff member tonight had the same thing happen to him. This is unacceptable! I believe that part of my membership dues show include me being able to park my car at the gym and not have to have my car broken into and vandalized. This has without question been a ongoing issue that n'Shape has known about and they have done nothing to improve the quality of the parking lot. This is wrong and I feel as a member I'm being taken advantage of, ignored, and the issue is being treated as ...and I quote "This is just the time we live in" which was the statement the manager made to me. It gives me no solace to know that your car was broken into as well. I think the manager was very unprofessional, dis-pleasingly candid and he took this very lightly. It was very clear that my car being broke into wasn't important nor did he show any concern. I came into n'Shape to check to see if he could bring up any video footage from this incident. He stated that the cameras don't cover the whole parking lot or where my car was parked at but only gets a good view of the front where there is about 95% disabled parking. So most members would not be able to park in these stalls. What good is it to have cameras if they don't capture what's going on in the parking lot. I feel like the manager was lazy and didn't go out of his way or put any effort into looking at the footage. He was quick to tell me that the cameras would not have seen anything. When I arrived he had not even looked at the incident reports yet. I had to wait for him because staff stated he was on lunch. When I asked him what time he started he said 11:00 am. It was about 12:30 so he had only been working for about 1 1/2 hours. The receptionist from the night before told me that he started at 11:00 am. So I feel like that should have been the first thing he gave his attention to. I can tell you that customer service is definitely not a top priority at n'Shape. nonexistent. My biggest concern is my property and safety. Why has there not been a hired guard or someone to monitor the parking lot during operation hours both day and night until the gym closes. Part of the problem I see is that this company has kids running the place at night. There are no adults (manager or supervisor) on site during the evening hours. A gym can't run itself. There should be a competent adult at all times working both shift day and night to oversee this facility.
Good place, well equipped and committed to your success. The Personal trainers are great. Only problem was the pricing.

I love the way the gym is setup and i love love love the fact that there are two pools. The only thing is that the pool isnt warm in the early morning. The pool is warm later on but definetly not at 4 in the morning when i get there. But otherwise the place is clean and the staff is friendly.
