I went there this evening around 9 pm and mentioned that I wanted to talk to someone about a membership. I was told by the young lady that the "guy" just left. What? Yes he left and for me to come back tomorrow before 8:30 pm !! So you're telling me that you are not intetested in a new member? I asked to speak to a manager, she said there wasn't one availablr. Really? I don't know what your hiring practices consist of, but you'd think your employees would be more knowledgeable and helpful.
Great location, great staff and the instructors are the best!
This place still makes me angry. I've written letters and phone calls regarding my over charged account and they don't honor their own contracts! And take money out of my bank when they decide to raise fees. Never recommend
Somewhat courteous staff in a well maintained environment. Wish that they had better hours of operation.
I've been coming here for a while and I like it. The staff is happy to be there, and to answer questions. Only downside is that sometimes it gets a bit too crowded and the machines are taken up.
It's a decent gym, lots of equipment although they sometimes run out of towels and house keeping is not on top of the bathrooms, esp during high traffic times. Convenient because it's close and has a nice variety of equipment albeit out dated esp the abd crunch machine ..
Can we get some newer ones and more than one? The equipment hasn't been updated in the last 5 years...I keep my gym bag with me because you can't trust anyone anywhere and if I were asked to lock it up I would simply leave. So gym bags on the floor should be allowed. Friendly staff, and the workout areas are always clean. Some of the equipment stays in disrepair for more than a week. Should extend hours if operation.

Good place to workout. They also have supervision for your child while you workout. A lot of classes to help you get fit for all ages

Place is horribly maintained. Lots gym equipment but very few attachments for that equipment. Cable machines have limited Attachments Like only one rope for the entire cable machines. It looks like the equipment has been pilfered and they can't maintain it because desk Personnel allow gym bags on the floor. This is not safe. No attempt to stop anybody. Went in on a Sat morning when it 1st opened Shocked fine no toilet paper, The male bathroom looked like A breeding ground staph infection..

It's good gym, they have sauna and stem room. They also have a pool too.

They do need a chain belt for dips and pull ups but that's about all.
I like the fact the showers & changing rooms are clean. I like the women's private workout area upstairs. No longer a member due to not disclosing paticular terms of agreement on contract charges that were not brought to my attention (added on with out my consent) but that was a while ago so hopefully that person is gone now.
My wife takes water aerobics . WULD love to work part time to clean pool lol
Security is non-existent! InShape does NOTHING about locks being cut in the locker rooms and cars being broken into in the parking lot, @ ALL hours of the day. Video evidence showed the non-member thieves just walk in, & then out w/ multiple bags, yet InShape says they're not responsible for anything?!
Its a known issue at the 12 InShape gyms I've been to (local to Pittsburg/Concord/Antioch). Most members who DO know about this (but for whatever reason still go to InShape) often decide to carry their gym bags w/ them to workout, or just hope THEIR car isn't hit next.
Inshape doesn't care, as long as you keep paying that $75 a month.
