The gym itself is very nice, I would definitely give the coaches and environment 5 stars! I am leaving a review for 3 stars though due to the lack of communication at the front desk. Everyone seems to be really pleased with the gym though, maybe something just went really screwy with us.
When we signed up, the classes for my daughters age group were full, so they placed her in the young preschool class. Completely understandable, and I really appreciate them trying to accommodate us. I wanted her to be in the correct age group though so I asked the girl at the front desk to put her on the wait list. When we had first signed her up, the woman at the front desk read off how long the wait lists were, so I knew there were quite a few kids ahead of us. This girl said they could squeeze her into a few different classes. Great news, but why were they giving me such different information. We put her in what I thought would be the correct class. The girl let me know that they would be closed on the day of her upcoming class, so we weren't there the following week.
When we came for the new class, I find out its for 6-8 year olds, and my daughter is only 4! That was never mentioned to me. It was a terrible fit for her so I talked to two different girls at the front desk about it. They apologized for her being placed in such a high class and found an advanced preschool class for her that would be a much better fit. Again, very appreciative, but why did no one mention advanced preschool in the first place. When we moved her to the class they told me that she would not come to that weeks class because she had already been there that week, and that next week they will be closed on that day. I explained to them that we keep getting moved to days that they were closed, and asked if there was anything they could do to help me out on that. They looked over the days we were there and offered for us to have a make up on that upcoming Saturday. The said that scheduled days closed are not days that can be made up, but since our schedule has been all over the place and we keep getting moved to closed days, they wanted to help us out. It was very nice of them, and we were really excited to finally be in the correct class.
Then that Saturday came around. When we got there, they had no note that we were coming in for the class. I had to explain to the man at the front desk our situation, and that the girls were letting us come to that class for a make up. He was very snippy at me that closed days are not make up days, and didn't seem to really listen when I tried to explain to him why they told us to come in. He really made me feel like I was trying to score freebies, and really could've handled that situation a lot better. All he kept bringing up was a registration fee we apparently hadn't paid, even though he was the FIRST person to bring it up. I paid all our session fees on the first day, he shouldn't have gotten on my case about that. I was so frustrated with the way he was making me feel about being at that class that I just wanted to leave. My daughter was late into the class at that point.
When I sent her into that Saturday class, I decided were going to go elsewhere. I was told something different every time we went to the gym. I probably would've gave it another shot if it wasn't for that last guy. Maybe talk to your staff first before acting like I'm skipping out on my fees and trying to get free classes. All we ever did was exactly what someone at the front desk told us to do.
