I write this, only in regards to their BJJ program. I can't say anything negative about any of the practitioners I've met there. They were all awesome and the kind of people I expect and love to train with. The issue is with the front desk. Their lack of understanding of the BJJ community and BJJ etiquette was mind boggling. The focus of seeking to milk people for every dime is the name of the game here. They charged like $20 dollars for an open mat fee. A random someone showing up wanting to try a few classes is one thing but $20 for a mat fee for people from the BJJ community, who are coming to train with other people from the community that they know is no way to build a BJJ program. I mean do as they please, but I would suggest meeting the folks who train here at places that don't charge for open mat. The BJJ practitioners, great, their understanding of the bjj community, travesty. If you want to box or kickbox, have at it, BJJ, there are better places in Tucson.
