After many year not doing yoga, I was super excited to try Sumits. I went on Saturday at 10. The class was full and hot. The teacher went out of her way to introduce herself and ask if I had any questions. The class was intense. I know from experience, the more you go the more adapted to the heat you become. I was so happy I did this class, when it was over! The studio is clean. Bathrooms have shower, toiletries and cubbies for items. There is a small shopping area, with mats, towels and yoga clothes. I really appreciated that Sumit is active in giving back to the community. When I went, several none profits were listed and by taking a class...added to their donation. I was surprised by the variety of people who attend. Lots of men of all ages. Women of all ages. Teens. All abilities. The schedule changes on occasion but they offer several morning classes. Afternoon and evening classes. Not all are yoga. They incorporate strength building classes also. Classes for a drop in are $16. I bought a 10 pack for $120. Bringing down my cost per class to $10. The sweat and workout are not comparable to any other fitness class. From the deep detoxification that last hours after class. To the calming and renewal sensation that I left with and carried all day. You need to bring a towel, yoga mat, water and dress in yoga gear if u have it. Short and a tank top will work. They do rent some items if you dont have them already.
