I have been working with Chris James, one of the personal trainers at Prestige Fitness, for the past year now. Initially I was a little worried about the financial investment, but it has been well worth it. Chris makes each session fun yet challenging. I normally hate exercising but now I am actually looking forward to my sessions. Chris also takes a very educational approach to eventually allow me to continue my sessions without his guidance. Overall the atmosphere at Prestige Fitness is very welcoming and friendly. All equipment is top notch and the facility is well maintained and spotless clean. Highly recommend it!
I have been going to Prestige Fitness for six months and love it. The size of the gym is just right for me. Not too big, not too small. My trainer, Amanda, is so good with me. She challenges me just right so that I am building muscle. I also take their Power Plate classes twice a week. I really like the combination of the classes and personal training. The other services they offer are great too (posture, body scanning, and nutrition). I highly recommend this gym.
I joined Prestige Fitness on November 20, 2019. They put me with Matthew Larson as my personal trainer. He is awesome and prepared me for lumbar back surgery we worked on strengthen my core. My surgery was scheduled for December 11, 2019 and went well and I was able to get up later that same day to start walking. I was able to walk with Nurse the whole floor at Hospital I was in. I wholeheartedly recommend Matthew Larson as a trainer. He makes one feel confident that one can do it. I can't wait for Doctor to release me so I can get back to my training with Matthew this way I can continue working to be healthy. Thank you Matthew Larson.
Life changing is my first thought regarding Prestige. Nutritionist as well as a personal trainer was a must for me and they have both! And the 3D body scan is a real bonus to truly see your results. I find I'm never trying to come up with an excuse not to go... I've done that in the past. I train with Jonny Lee. His approach is perfect for me. He's great at motivating me while keeping this fun. It shouldn't feel like punishment... and it certainly doesn't. I enjoy going. And that's a first for me.
Simply put, Prestige is a great place. The trainers are helpful and focused on the clients, and the environment is small, clean, and organized. When I say they are focused, I don't just mean that for their clients, there have been more trainers than I can count that have not only rooted me on and encouraged me, but have kindly answered questions for me if I wasn't sure how to do something or couldn't find certain equipment.
My girlfriend and I decided to dedicate ourselves to living a healthier life together, and signed up here. Another quality we like here is that we didn't just sign up for using equipment. As a couple of gym rookies, we had little to no idea of what exercises to do, or how to use the equipment for maximum effectiveness. Really, we signed up for our trainer, Jonny. You'll find no better advocate-he's clearly knowledgeable, and he will both encourage you, and challenge you. He also knows how to scale things for different clients, How he trains my sweetie isn't exactly the same as how he trains me, as she and I have somewhat different strengths, and goals. He's not only pushed me to do more, but I've learned a lot from him! Speaking of that, one thing that all trainers here share is a healthy regard to safety, good form for exercises and sensible stretching.
If you're considering a gym, I wholeheartedly recommend checking it out! The environment is nice and the general attitude of the place, between both clients and and trainers, is accepting and positive. Everyone here is here to train, but plenty of folks have been friendly and encouraging to each other too, regardless of the wide range of ages and body shapes here.
Bernard is my trainer here at Prestige. He kicks my butt 3 times a week! He is always accommodating to my schedule, always puts thought behind each and every workout, and he pushes me mentally and physically.
I am happy with my results from what I used to look/ feel like when I first started to now. He has transformed my thoughts on what working out really is all about and for that I am forever grateful!

This gym is amazing! After seeing little to no benefit with PT, I was looking for a gym with a great training staff who could help me recover from a hip injury and get back to the activities I love. Prestige did just that more! The GM Tara listened to all of my concerns and goals and carefully selected a trainer to work with me. Matt was a perfect match! He is extremely knowledge and tailored my program with my input throughout. After only a few months, I'm stronger than before my injury and back to full activity!

I had a hip replacement 1 year ago and after 7 months, I was still experiencing weakness and poor balance, even after physical therapy and other exercise. I began working out with Katie about 5 months ago and it's been fantastic. My mobility and strength has improved dramatically. Plus I have loads of fun. The gym is very comfortable, clean and everyone is very friendly. Joining Prestige Fitness and finding Katie has been one of the best things I've done. Thank you!

Gary Ray has been my trainer since his first day at Prestige, and I think he is phenomenal. He really plans workout sessions to help me reach my goals as well as his. The sessions always challenge me. In fact, I am often amazed that I can actually succeed because it seems impossible to me, but he knows what I am capable of and helps me do it, which leaves me sweaty, surprised, and more than satisfied. My 15 year old athletic grandson shared a session with me recently, and he was challenged too as well as being amazed at my athletic ability. Seriously, how many 62 year old grandmothers have had that experience? Thank you, Gary!
I started going to Prestige in August of last year. Im not very disciplined by myself at a gym, so I decided to go with a personal trainer just to get me started. At 60 years old and having been at a very sedentary job for the last 30 plus years, honestly, my expectations were low. But I have to say, that quickly turned around. Prestige is small, but well equipped. You get personal attention from everyone there. I'm not used to the Owner of gym, knowing my name. The classes they offer are very helpful in supplementing my workout. They go from mild to wild. My trainer Gary Ray, is more than I could have hoped for. He worked with me, knowing my physical limitations in the beginning, but working on the areas he knew I needed to be stronger in. Gary is not only helping me reach my goals, but keeps me motivated every step of the way, with my exercise, my nutrition, and need for a good laugh. Gary knows exactly what I need to work on and when to push me to go a little further. My time with Gary at Prestige is now my happy place that I really look forward to. Since August I have lost 55 pounds, and 66 inches, and gained tremendous strength and self confidence. (so far). This is a lifestyle change for me that I will carry with me the rest of my life. I am back to hiking, which was my love 25 years ago. I feel better at 60 than I did at 40. I can't thank Prestige and Gary enough for giving me my life back. Oh, and Gary is helping go even further in strength training. I plan on gaining a lot more muscle before I am through with 61.

Joined Prestige Fitness 6 months ago and have been working out with Dominic. I have history of back and neck pain so I have always been leary of one size fits all workout programs other gyms offer. I greatly appreciate the individualized attention I have received since signing up. All of the trainers are professional and friendly. I have no hesitation in recommending Prestige Fitness to anyone who is serious about getting back in shape.
I walked into Prestige 3 months ago knowing needed a big change and big accountability. I had no idea what to expect. I was nervous, feeling insecure and scared. I fight medical issues and injury, and every day I feel like no one understands. Fast forward to today...I'm kicking butt! I'm Stronger, Faster, more Tone... but more importantly I'm more confident, I'm supported, and encouraged, in or out of the gym & training sessions. Matthew is my trainer and I cannot say enough positive things about him. He cares, he pushes you hard, and he is empathetic on the bad days when you need it. There are so many great value adds to my experience that I didn't even realize were there and I'm taking advantage of everything I can. Prestige Fitness is different...and the best in my opinion.
I have been training with Christina Griffee for over a month now. I came in with chronic joint and muscle pain and have been feeling better than ever. Christina has customized my workouts and been very supportive. I can discuss any issues I'm having and she listens and adjusts my workouts accordingly. As a result I have more energy and far less pain than when I started. Highly recommend. Comfortable atmosphere and caring trainers.
I let myself go and needed to find a new trainer since my previous one had long since moved out of state. I am so glad I found Prestige Fitness! I really need a guide and someone to motivate me when I work out. Christina Griffee is my trainer and she's the best! She is patient with me and works with me on my posture as well. She is really focussed which keeps me on track. We laugh a lot and have dance breaks!!! She is new to Tucson and I am so grateful to have found Prestige and be matched with her!

This is the first time I've worked with a personal trainer. After an ankle fracture last year I was at the highest weight and in the worst shape I've ever been in. I was getting winded just doing my usual morning routine of showering and getting dressed. I was skeptical about whether or not 2 training sessions a week would improve my fitness level but I have been pleasantly surprised! In just over 9 months I've lost 36 pounds, and I recently enjoyed a 5 mile walk into Sabino Canyon--something I haven't been able to do in about 4 years! I also am sleeping better, don't feel sluggish during the day and have the strength to do some workouts at home as well. My trainer Chris challenges me but also makes the training sessions fun. Everyone at Prestige is friendly and it's a very clean and comfortable environment. I love this place!!
Sean Sheahan is by far the best trainer I have ever worked with.
Over the past 12 years I have used 8 trainers in 3 different cities so I know what makes a trainer great.
For almost two years, Sean has been able to isolate and activate muscles when other trainers could not. When trying to sculpt your body, this is crucial.
Sean also pays attention to every detail ensuring perfect form. This prevents injury and makes exercises more effective.
Sean is also incredibly creative with exercise selection and modification. And lastly, Sean is fun! He makes the most grueling exercises...bearable. :) I truly cannot say enough about this guy. I recommend Sean to anyone looking for the best personal trainer.
I can honestly say that Prestige Fitness is the best gym I have ever been a part of. My experience has only been positive. All of the staff and trainers are welcoming, friendly and helpful. I've been a part of many different gyms and had many trainers over the years and Prestige Fitness is superior to them all. This is the perfect gym for anyone who is ready to take control of their health and have fun while doing it! I'm very grateful I found Prestige Fitness. Prestige is a great place to go for a workout. It is a smaller gym with all the amenities of the larger gyms. And if your looking for a fitness instructor/trainer then this is the place and Sean Shehan is at the top. I have been training with him for over a year and he personalizes ever session. He demands a lot but is always working to get you in the best shape plus gives you the ability to keep doing it outside of the gym. All around Sean and prestige are amazing. So if you want a personalized trainer and gym then this is the place.
I've joined a lot of gyms, and have hired personal trainers, but have NEVER had as good an experience as I've had at Prestige Fitness and with my personal trainer, Sean Sheahan. Sean could be a physical therapist, only better!! He pays close attention to me so that I'm doing the exercises correctly, and encourages me to push myself a little harder to achieve my goals. It's worth every penny!! REMEMBER!!! YOUR HEALTH IS YOUR GREATEST ASSET!!! Thank you, Sean, for encouraging me to keep my greatest asset in shape!!!
I've been going to PRESTIGE fitness almost two years. The place is clean and has updated equipment. Chris James has been and still is my personal trainer. I really don't enjoy gyms, but Chris has made my experience worthwhile. He is the most patient and knowledgeable trainer. I highly recommend this gym, especially for seniors like myself. I'm ALWAYS comfortable there. Thanks, Chris, for making my experience exceptional.
I am a fan. Prestige has changed my life. My trainer, Lamar is the best. He has been there for me through thick and thin . He always keeps my chin up and my punches coming. I am so thankful for him.
Also Gary Ray has challenged me to the nth degree. His classes are hard and fun. Keep me coming back.
I joined Prestige Fitness a few months ago and couldn't be more pleased. Though all my years of different gyms, and there have been many and of different varieties, I have never felt as comfortable and a happy with my decision. Everyone is very friendly and they even remember your name. I have now purchased my second personal training package, it's the best investment I have done for myself. Andrea is amazing!!!! She continually pushes me beyond what I think I am capable of and yet is always conscientious of my physical limitations. I am looking forward to continuing my fitness journey at Prestige.
Prestige Fitness has been stellar at helping me meet my physical goals. My trainer, Samantha, has enabled me to surpass my physical limitations. Her quality of instruction has helped me feel stronger and have less pain in my joints. I highly recommend this facility.
I've been getting Prenatal massages with Lamar and been feeling great! We tried the Kinesio tape this week to help with back and pelvic pressure and so far I have been feeling a difference in how I carry the belly! I highly recommend booking with Lamar (pregnant or not)!
My trainer is outstanding! I really can't say enough good things about him or this place. He understands and figures out how how to work around every single broken area I have. If you have injuries and haven't been able to work out, I highly recommend these trainers and this fitness center.
Jamie was my personal trainer today and I wanted to share my thoughts because I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a personal trainer in Tucson. Jamie is Low-Key, Energetic, Professional, Knowledgable and Fun all rolled into one. We had one hour and she taught me how to use the Skillmill treadmill. We worked on many different muscle groups for the weight training and did a variety of exercises which were all fun and interesting. My personality is a person who does not like to work out, so I am especially grateful that she did not hold that against me. At times Jamie did the exercises along with me which was fun, and she was careful and patient to make sure that I was doing things correctly. My favorite part was after my hour ended she took the time to do some great stretches which reminded me of thai massage. That was a *bonus*. At Prestige Fitness you can purchase a MYZONE band you wear around your chest and it tracks your progress while you work out, for the month, for comparison and you can add a picture of your workout that day. I added this picture of Jamie and I doing a plank which was after our workout but more fun for my day. I am not into exercise so I really have to look for the gimmicks where I can find them. I left feeling really good about Jamie's workout with me and I would again, highly recommend her to anyone who needs a personal trainer.
