Quality live music from artists all over the world, educational films, and more...this is the best venue in Tucson! Hands down!
I've gone to many of the music shows the Sea of Glass brings in and they are always quality performers that are not only talented but also have messages for positive change in the world. The online calendar shows upcoming shows and there is always a variety on the lineup representing many cultures and many styles of music. My gratitude to the Sea of Glass for maintaining such a beautiful venue that brings community and culture to 4th Avenue in Tucson!
Probably the nicest venue I have been to in Tucson. When you go there, the focus is on the artist in front of you, and the sound quality is excellent. The energy there is created to bring out the best of the performers and the staff is very supportive and service oriented.
Somehow this is still somewhat of a hidden gem in Tucson. From my experience its by far the best venue in town, consistently bringing in performers from all over the world. Going to the Sea of Glass is often like taking an international trip! The value SOG is bringing to the Tucson music scene is considerably underappreciated. A must experience venue!
I grew up in NYC, I worked in big media for years, been to many, many concerts, and the best experiences have been in smaller intimate clubs and artistic venues. That's what this venue Sea Of Glass is! I've now seen many great and upcoming acts up close and personal at this venue. The sound system is as good as it gets, the people are serious in their interests in generating exposure for excellent and deserving in my opinion artists. Price is common good, they even will work with you if your short on funds. This truly is one of the best performance venues I've been to, by far! You wont meet any nicer of a staff there. Loving space for sure, Go!

I love coming here, I've worked here previously, come as a guest for several performances, and I even performed here as a musician. The venue is classy, clean, and quality. The sound is always great, it can get loud, and it can get soft, depending on the show, but it's always crisp, clear, and full. The sound crew was great and supportive (speaking as a musician). There is clean water right at the door, and the bathrooms were spotless; they have high standards of service and know how to run a quality venue. Definitely a five star experience in my opinion.
