I was in Tucson for a week and dropped into Crossfit Milo multiple days. The owners were very welcoming, the workouts were varied and challenging, and the space was cool. The abundance of class times and open gym hours made it easy to fit in a workout while also working long days. Will definitely be back next time I'm in the area!

Every time I have come to Crossfit Milo, I've left smiling--sweating profusely, but still smiling. The community in this gym is extremely inclusive and the programming is a good mix of cardio and strength. If you're looking for a new gym or stopping by in Tucson, I highly recommend trying out Crossfit Milo.

I have been attending CrossFit Milo for a year and a half and I could not have asked for a better experience. It was a warm welcome into the Crossfit/fitness community. There are amazing amenities and comprehensive, fun and challenging (in a good way) classes. All of the other members are unique and friendly. The owners of the gym have truly made me, and all other attendees, feel like family. I would recommend this gym to anyone and everyone.

I absolutely LOVE going to CrossFit Milo. The no-pressure atmosphere is perfect. One can go has hard or scaled as needed to complete the workout and get fit. The support of the coaches as well as from other members is incomparable to any "gym" experience I've ever had. I highly recommend checking this place out.

If I could give more stars I would. If you're nervous about getting started with crossfit, this is the place for you!. The coaches at Crossfit Milo work with you to ensure you have good form and technique to prevent injuries and bad habits. Having coaches that are so hands on and meticulous with proper form is so important and it truly adds so much to the value of this gym.

The community that Crossfit Milo has fostered is so impressive. I joined thinking that I was going to get in good shape, not realizing that I would also be part of such a motivated, accepting, and welcoming community.

Crossfit Milo has a super rad building in a prime downtown location. There is a good amount of space for everyone, all of the equipment is top notch, and it's kept very clean. I love all of the touches inside like the local art, and the pool table. The building is very industrial and perfect for a crossfit atmosphere.

Overall, Crossfit Milo is a great value. I've really noticed that I'm in better shape since going and I love the community that comes along with it. If you're on the fence about crossfit, go to Crossfit Milo and just try it. You're going to feel so welcomed that you'll end up staying and getting in great shape while making friends.

I LOVE this place! Try it out and you won't be disappointed. The location is so convenient and the extended hours are super work friendly. They even have a little playroom so I can bring the kiddos. That's something I haven't found at other crossfit locations. The owners, Alan and Kare, are really caring people. They do a good job of creating a friendly and welcoming community. It's nice to go to a gym where people actually know who you are. Plus, they are super knowledgeable and experts at scaling everything to your personal level of fitness. The workouts are fun and challenging. I can't recommend this place enough.

This place is a wonderful environment to start or to facilitate your fitness goals. The Knowledge Kare Williams brings to the table is unparalleled in any of my experiences. Whether you wish to get in shape or get into competition shape Crossfit Milo will meet your goals.

I was for 3 months at Milo, during my stay in Tucson. Because I am not anymore a Milo client, due to the fact that I am far away from Tucson, I will try to be fairly objective in this review. To summarize: it was a great gym experience and my overall fitness level has increased significantly. Kare, the main coach, was fantastic, in the sense that she focused a lot on the proper form for most of the exercises, and I have never felt insecure or fearful regarding their execution, especially for the barbell ones (before, I had a problem/fear with free weights exercises). Exercises that I hated and avoided before, like all sorts of barbel squats, now I am loving them. The work-outs were challenging and sweaty, but in the end, you cannot expect reasonable physical progress without a big sweat. The gym has plenty of room and has proper equipment (exactly just what you need for most of the fitness goals), and a very nice part at the entrance. Finally, the people in the 6:15 am class were great and supportive, and the atmosphere there was cozy and relaxing. The only minus of the gym is the couch/sofa near the entrance, which for the morning classes (in my case, the 6:15 am) is very tempting.

I found this crossfit gym when my former one closed and could not be happier or more excited about working out. The training program is arranged so that one can readily workout daily and avoid injury or muscle exhaustion. The facility is filled with natural light and exceptionally clean and well ventilated. They have an amazing air conditioned space for children with one can observe from throughout the gym. The staff and regulars ensure a positive supportive atmosphere is maintained. Scaling, recovery, and life long fitness is not only allowed but encouraged.

As a CrossFit member who travels for work, I have frequented many gyms as a drop in. CrossFit Milo was a great experience.
- Great Facility, top notch space, great lighting and excellent equipment and layout
- Solid People, clear coaching, direct and friendly, class members were encouraging and took an interest in having a fresh face to grind through a workout with
- Flexible Programming, shared with Kare that I had just did Cindy recently and she worked with me to get what I needed out of my workout.

If you're in Tucson, this is the spot to check out!

Our son goes to U of A and suggested that we drop in at Crossfit Milo. All I can say is that any time you are in Tucson or if you live in Tucson, you have to go to Crossfit Milo and try out a class. Great box (gym in Crossfit lingo), great programming and coaching, great equipment, loads of parking and varied workouts. We did both Crossfit and this thing called Fire Factory. It was amazing. Thank you Alan and Kare for the hospitality and great workout. Anytime we are in town we will stop in to see you...

I had the pleasure of working out at Crossfit Milo just before a competition my training partner and I were entering. Not only is the facility well-equipped, clean, and professional-looking, Coach Kare Williams knows how to get you there. It is true that great coaches inspire and motivate, energizing you and pushing you to your limit. However, Coach Kare has a phenomenal competitive background, and still competes herself, which enables her to coach athletes effectively for competition. Even if one does not have any intention of competing, one cannot ignore the value of competitive training, and it is my opinion that there is great value to being coached by Kare. Incidentally, we ran into Coach Kare at our event, and she was there with her training partner, one of her athletes brand new to CrossFit. It was inspiring to see her out there, working hard, pushing herself, and supporting her athlete/teammate. Not only that, but when I was in the pain zone during my first workout, there she was in front of me, reminding me to breathe and maintain my pace, which helped me focus and stay in the pain cave. Like I said, Coach Kare knows how to get you there. So, whether you're a serious athlete who wants to get out there into CrossFit competition, or whether you're just serious about your training in general, I highly recommend Coach Kare and her staff at CrossFit Milo.
