Love my new gym! It's amazing in every way, it's so clean and so many nice people to help you with anything you need! You can go workout than enjoy the sauna or steam room and shower.

Not a place for families with older children. I have been turned away for not having a guardianship order from the State of Arizona for the exchange student from Spain that I am hosting for one year. They don't allow my teen age daughter either. They do allow my 3 year old though. In addition, I have seen adults vaping in the cafeteria. Not a good environment for older kids.

Call this my second home :) I enjoy everything that is offered here and to me it's worth every penny. My kiddos enjoy the Kids Center while I concentrate on my workout worry free (Trey was super Awesome btw). Steven signed me up and for 2 years straight every time he sees my kiddos, he gives them a "High Five" or friendly acknowledgement. The staff is super nice and the place is Always clean, I definitely agree about bringing your own slippers for the Sauna and pool area though. All in All 5 stars and Thank you LifeTime staff members for all your support and everything you do! *hugs*

Everyone is very helpful. Love the trainers! Far more comfortable going there than any gym I've ever gone to. Has incredible variety in classes! If you have kids, they have great plans for them too!

After a couple of months.... I joined a couple of months ago. I have had nothing but exceptional service! The staff is warm and helpful. Geo S was the account manager that signed me up. Zero pressure! Best gym sign up ever! In the past I've either experienced high pressure or no information. This is by far the best gym joining experience I've ever had. Onboarding with Geoff was also fantastic! It's truly an evaluation. We aren't talking about a 5 minute tour with another 10 minutes explaining the machines. He really learned what I wanted to accomplish and then paired me with a trainer. My trainer, John Z is awesome! My workouts are tailored to me. John completely focuses on my goals. No canned one size fits all workouts! I'm absolutely loving Life Time!

I was really impressed with the entire facility. I'm not actually a member, but I came on a buddy pass with someone who is. Personally, I don't pay for gym membership because I can access one at my college - BUT if I were to buy a membership somewhere, I'd probably choose this one. There's a huge pool, sauna, every exercise machine you could think of, super clean locker rooms, and plenty of space to get in your zone alone.

Amazing gym! I've been to a lot of gyms in my life time and this one is one of the best. It's clean, great locker rooms and has an indoor and outdoor pool. Every machine you need and the classes have great instructors! Only downside is its crowded most of the time but that happens everywhere.

Very friendly.
It know it's only year 2018.25 but I think they should have salt water vs chlorinated pools, cooler Zen atmospheric music, at least a little budget for cool lighting design, better water fountains like in #PHX I think I'm still getting a membership and hope

This gym has gone downhill fast. The hot tubs do not get hot. The steam rooms are a joke, don't bother trying to use them they don't get hot and barely have steam. They removed half of the weight machines for open space noone uses. Save your self the cash and go to EOES, they have the same quality facilities but cost $50 a month less.

the gym is nice, the staff is incompetent and uninformed; avoid at all costs. I tried cancelling my membership while overseas remotely in germany, instead of cancelling my membership, they billed me for two more years without reimbursement; avoid this bureaucratic money suck at all costs.

This was a really nice Life Time facility with lots of equipment. I was thankful to get in, being from out of state.

Best gym in town. Better than LA fitness

By far my favorite place to be. Wish I had more time to be here but with my work schedule it's hard to find time. Fitness facilities are great. The spa is amazing I don't remember the lady who did my hair but she was amazing, she had shoulder length brown hair. Staff at the front desk could be more inviting it sometimes seems your bothering them if you talk to them when they are just standing there. Bart got me my membership a couple months ago he is very nice and constantly reaches out to me to see how everything is going. I absolutely love this gym

If you just want to use the Gym then go for it but as far as customer service and activities go on this is far the worst I ever saw in Arizona. You can never find any Manager on duty or they don't even have an email or even a voice mail to leave a message. For the last 5 months I have been trying to contact them for a service they charged 200 for a activity class that never took place. I was never notified but they never returned the money as well. Every week I speak to someone either in the front desk or activity center. Funny thing is they just tell me - a manager will contact me . It's not about the money- the frustrating thing is for me to ask for the refund.

Lifetime fitness is by far my favorite family gym. I have tried several but nothing compare to lifetime. The staff in the child Care are just amazing! They are super friendly and enjoy working with kids. I feel my kids are in good hands and that makes me feel extremely good since my son has medical issues. They are quick to contact you if your child needs you. I have had a really good experience with the swim lessons there to. They are super reasonably priced incomparison to other swim places. Most classes only have 2 or 3 kids. I think sometimes my kids have basically had private lessons . I think that was due to absences of another child. But still it's nice that the ratio is low.

Best gym in town! It has plenty of cardio equipment as well as weights, benches, and squat racks so that even during peak hours (Monday-Thursday 4:30-8 and Saturday mornings) you won't have to wait too long for the equipment that you want. I have been a member for 10 years and the staff there is always really helpful and keeps the place running smoothly. Regular pickup basketball on the two regulation size basketball courts as well as 4 squash courts and an indoor and outdoor pool for children, along with indoor and outdoor lap pools and indoor hot tubs to boot. Also since it is open 24/7 it is extremely convenient if you have a wacky schedule. Highly recommend.

This place has it all. The standards are great. I really enjoy the atmosphere and from my experience it's always been clean and upheld!

For I gym that I have devoted eight years of my life attending, to now having to encounter numerous different racial profiling situations, I will not just let it go unnoticed. In the past this facility has allowed in a countless number of new workers who have no customer service experience at all to manage an already dysfunctional front desk. There used to be an older blonde woman who would swipe your card and then hold it up in the air to create some kind of spectacle to humiliate you when nothing was wrong with your account to begin with. Their used to be a shorter brunette who was notoriously known for being so rude that people would just walk past her without swiping in their cards just to avoid confrontation. There were numerous new faces behind that front desk who you would never see again because all they did was talk amongst themselves and act like no one else existed. In addition to that, whenever you go towards one of the side offices to complain you'll just get someone who could careless and use phrases such as "I'll allow you to go in" as if you needed permission or "I'm not at liberty to discuss that" if so then what exactly do you do?
So keeping in mind these horrific past experiences, I attend this gym with the mindset that I should expect nothing greater in regards to customer service, because they have for years lacked in that department. So when I went in on August 27th, I approached the front desk with my card in hand idly waiting in line. When it was my turn I handed my card over to a woman, who later claimed she was the manager (Kate) but yet no one else has ever seen her before, and she went ahead and swiped my card. She took one look at the screen and then looked me dead in my eyes and had the nerve to say that I can't work out here. Mind you that she didn't try to double check my account or even see that my name has been in that system for the past 8 years, so I took offense to her lack of cooperation. I was forced to stand there like some adolescent child that was lying when all I was doing was trying to work out. There came a point where I had to raise my voice just to get someone else to assist me because no one else had the nerve to take it upon themselves to do so. She acted in such a classless and vindictive manner that she had the nerve to look down upon me as if I can't afford a membership and that I was trying to sneak in. Finally after some time I was approached by an assistant sales manager, Bert Flemming, who tried to deescalate the situation. He approached her and had to tell, "Don't worry they work out here". He walked me over to his office and assisted me with my card.
He found that my account had a medical hold on it because I temporarily paused it because I had surgery done on my right knee. I had to explain to him that that hold should have been taken off weeks ago because i have been working out for the past two months He was able to help me with no problem but he still was not someone who was capable to rectifying the situation. He spoke to me as the middle man and didn't care much for the extra details because he didn't want to have to answer to Kate. So looking at this situation from a corporate stand point I can say that they were both negligent in handling a situation that should have never occurred to begin with. Neither one of them has taken responsibility for their actions and no apologies have been issued. After an experience like that, I spoke with other members of that gym who I see regularly, and they all told me stories of their own about that front desk and how they don't cooperate well with people of color. From here I will let Lifetime's corporate office about this situation and then the NAACP from then on.

To preface this I don't use the pool, Care center, cafè or courts. The gym has tons of power racks and benches, tons more than other gyms. The barbells can be inconsistent with weight. There are plenty of plates (a lot of bumper plates too). It also has enough equipment to do almost anything. The only downside is of course price. I don't pay for membership but the price runs at $50 a month, that is extremely high.
