They put our daughter in a pin alone and left her crying for an hour watching other kids play around her. They did not come get us and had been told the last time they did this we ate not okay with it, to get us instead and we will take her. Their excuse is every time they werent watching her she was climbing. So they admitted to being unable to adequately watch my child.
Then another time both our children left with bruises. On their faces.
We had a great time with swimming lessons for our (then) three-year-old!! She loved Miss Jennifer. We will be coming again next year to get our swim on!!!
Very poor customer service at this location. I went in to re-join and they charged me $50 that day plus prorated for 11 days charge and then turned around 4 days later and charge me $45 for next month. Without explaining that to me.
I tried numerous times to call and cancel due to health issues and was told only one lady handled it and I would have to email her. I was told they couldn't give out her email address by one man but some lady finally did. She never responded back via email so 4 days later after I call again and leave her a voicemail another employee sends a rude email about the cancellation and still charged me for the whole month of September. I tried to cancel 10 days before the date of my auto draft and due to their unprofessionalism I was unable to.
I will never recommend this place. Hardest ever to cancel.
This place is a joke ,parents do not let ur children play any sports there it's all about money they charge u $95 for a 4 or 5 game season with nothing but a shirt that cost only $7 or $8 at the most so u get 10 players on a team that's almost a $1000k .The right hand doesnt know what the left hand is doing and vice versa it is completely unorganized to the max ,if u call them out on things they dont want u there anymore

I just found out that they now a daycare charge. As a single parent, this is upsetting. I have never been asked to pay a daycare fee with a gym membership. The family plan is too high and members with small children who can't use the equipment should not be charged.

Rally good place to workout with lots of activities for children to do. Their summer swim team and spring conditioning are the best with some of the best coaches in Mobile. Definitely a place for family to get healthy. They offer lifeguard and WSI certifications both done through the Red Cross. Their group exercise classes are the best!

Never, never go to this YMCA needing a shower. They will belittle you and might even charge you $10.00.
God forbid that anyone should find themselves in that kind of need because they'll treat you like you owe them. For me it was their breaking Alabama state law on service dogs. I was told, "I give you a shower, now you keep your service dog outside." And, "I could charge you $10.00 for your shower and I am not so you can just keep your service dog outside." And, "I'm concerned about your dog the children's basketball." How is basketball an issue with a service dog? She wasn't there to play basketball, nor did she pose any threat to basketball. It was a peculiar and reaching argument. And I was certainly not there to have an argument. Alivia, Macy and Corliss, you should care more for your employer's mission "to put Christian principles into practice ... to demonstrate a sincere concern for others, for their needs and well-being." What a stain, too, on the South's reputation for sweetness. Alabama can do better! And it will, I am sure.
