Been going 3x a week for 8 years. Absolutely love it. The people who work there are knowledgeable and helpful, the equipment is new - if you pick your hours there's not a crowd. I'm in my early 70s and this is what I do for myself. Love the small size and ease of parking. Highly recommended.

Nice and clean facility. Plenty of equipment to work out with. Nice and friendly staff.
I come in the morning around 6:30, there is always an elliptical open for me to use. It seems like the perfect time to come. The front desk guy is always very cheerful and the building is clean. I have no complaints.
Love this place. Friendly people. Clean. Machines all in good working condition. Great fitness challenges. Excellent coffee.
This is gym is the best I've been to. There are sweet-spots of time where there are very few people. This gym is very intimate with a great aesthetic and a view out into Big Spring Park. The locker rooms and showers are almost always clean. There is quite a bit packed into this somewhat small gym. You can find most machines you want to use and there are plenty of treadmills and ellipticals.
I would recommend this gym. Great setting, great staff, great location.
Its too mellow in there for me. No music playing, people stay to themselves.

Facility is too small and people are always in the way. Too many snooty type A people not very welcoming.
Overall a nice YMCA, but as an out-of-town guest that is used to having towels available, it was a bit of a surprise to be charged to use one here. My only suggestion would be to make exceptions for first-time or out-of-town visitors so that they aren't put off by this policy.

We love being members here, great place to workout, good environment, I just wish they opened earlier on saturdays (like 5am) cus that would be the perfect time/day to workout for me, but I know I would be one of the only people there so I understand! Very clean and professional, love it.

If the sauna is a novelty for you, read up on it. People coming in the sauna fully dressed in workout clothes, shoes, socks, shirts. What's next, showering in your bathing suit and an umbrella?

Such wonderful staff. The facility is top notch - all new equipment. For the Express YMCA in town, they still offer quite a few classes throughout the day. If you have a suggestion, write on a comment card, they'll listen :) many unique, fun challenges throughout the year to keep you excited about coming to the gym. Great environment!
