I went to this gym because it was the closest option, but thank god Cheyenne is getting a Planet Fitness. While going to this gym, we were charged multiple times for purchases we didn't make. Apparently someone with the same name did enjoy a smoothie, and the person ringing them up didn't care to check who was actually at the gym before charging it to our credit card. Good thing I pay attention! We recently moved and had planned to use up the final month before switching to a rec center with a lower cost, but then we realized that although there appears to be a Gold's gym in town, it's been closed and converted to a different gym and we no longer have one close to us. When I called to request a refund for the month we just paid and used one day ($80), they refused. Apparently, hidden in the contract that was signed over a year ago, a month-to-month membership requires a 30 day notice to cancel. Who knew?! Don't sign up here - go to Planet Fitness. It's much cheaper, and I'm sure that they don't trick you into taking your money. Maybe with more competition in town they'll actually try to have any sort of customer service.
