I was a member of the gym. I was traveling on business for three months and called several times to have my account be put on hold. The front desk person said that was possible for a hold fee of $10. She said the person who handles that will call me back. Never received a phone call. After several attempts I then sent a letter to the gym asking for my account to be canceled as stated in the contract. They never canceled the account.
Golds gym is a great place to work out. Covid19 has caused restrictions which I can understand. What I don't understandas is what happens if you pay for a year. it shows the gym is open but it does not not say how to pre register or that you pay $10 to get in. I've already lost 2 months and not pay $10 because I doubt I'll get the money back from the lost 2 prepaid months.
Golds Gym Cheyenne is awesome, they are always willing to help out around the community! Great Staff, this gym is fantastic!
We use kids club all the time. They are great with the kids. It is one of the main reasons we come here

The amount this gym charges is vastly higher than any other gym I have been to. They offer little to nothing for members. No pool or sauna as planet fitness has. They have staff that pick and choose what rules to enforce and what they decide is a rule...is one for that time. The staff is rude! Lord help me! The child center's staff said 5-8 words to me when I dropped off and picked up and those words were...you know we close at 8 right with a snotty look on her face (sorry you had to work) and she said NOTHING as I picked my kids up! Really?! I'm highly disappointed that after paying this gym a high 3 digit figure I am still stopped and treated as if I am a not a member and grilled each time I come in. Go to planet fitness ....save yourself some money, give yourself more options, and allow yourself the ability to bring a guest for free, oh and have staff that aren't rude, snotty, and judging the entire time you are in the gym area!

I would not come to this place if your a colored person or a disabled person, These people are extremely racist to non-Aryans, Even their customers are extremely racist against non-Aryans.

They are now facing a class action law suit against other ethic and racial minorities

I went to this gym because it was the closest option, but thank god Cheyenne is getting a Planet Fitness. While going to this gym, we were charged multiple times for purchases we didn't make. Apparently someone with the same name did enjoy a smoothie, and the person ringing them up didn't care to check who was actually at the gym before charging it to our credit card. Good thing I pay attention! We recently moved and had planned to use up the final month before switching to a rec center with a lower cost, but then we realized that although there appears to be a Gold's gym in town, it's been closed and converted to a different gym and we no longer have one close to us. When I called to request a refund for the month we just paid and used one day ($80), they refused. Apparently, hidden in the contract that was signed over a year ago, a month-to-month membership requires a 30 day notice to cancel. Who knew?! Don't sign up here - go to Planet Fitness. It's much cheaper, and I'm sure that they don't trick you into taking your money. Maybe with more competition in town they'll actually try to have any sort of customer service.

Update: Businesses that offer "free WiFi" as benefit need to make sure that it functions at high level or don't offer it. During most times the wifi here is very sketching and becomes frustrating. Needs to be imporved or eliminated.
The facility and equipment is very good. The staff is friendly and helpful. My reason for only four stars is the tv connections are terrible. The tv's all seem pixelated and out of focus. I am not sure if that is provider issue or gym issue, but it is enough to give you headache looking at them.
Great place to exercise until you have to move because of your career. There is not a Gold's gym in Gillette, so I asked to cancel my membership because I would be unable to use it. "Yes you can...for 75.00". My question was why? "Because you have time left in your membership." Even though I would not be here to use it. Lousy policy, and the staff/manager should be able to waive this.

Amazing staff! Super friendly and helpful no matter who you ask! Very clean, great facility, awesome equipment, and great environment to get your daily workout! They go above and beyond to make it a great place to be! Love all of the extras, like the 12 week challenge! Keep up the awesome work Golds Gym Cheyenne!
HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED IN STAFF! If I didn't NEED this membership and didn't already have set intentions that I was for sure going to sign up, there is absolutely NO WAY that your staff member could have sold it to me. I walked right in to the front desk lady saying I'd like to sign up. Even with that, she was not friendly, not enthusiastic not informative and half the time she was speaking so lowly that I couldn't even hear her. She didn't even SMILE! She seemed to not take me seriously, and couldn't wait to be done with a tour. She didn't care if I wanted to be a member or not or what was important to me. She altered my mood and it really ruined the my afternoon. That was my first time ever at Golds gym and it was terrible experience!! I give three stars because they have a lot of equipment and training classes as well as a woman's room currently under construction for the next two months apparently. I truly hope this negative environment is not an everyday thing. Super upset and now feel regret for even signing up.

I get my workout done early in the morning and the place is not too crowed. The showers have great water pressure, better than at home. I am glad they put this Gold's in and I will use it whenever I am in Cheyenne.
Having worked in the fitness industry for 20 years, I had the opportunity to workout in gyms all across the country. The Gold's in Cheyenne is one of the best gyms I have workout out at. It is an extremely well equipped gym,the staff are very personable and they remember your name.The gym is very well kept,great music and an overall awesome atmosphere.

Good gym for the price. Wish they had tanning beds like fitness one and accessible dip belts/etc and were 24/7. good classes available to members.
