This place was given a remodel and an upgrade not too long ago. It was very well done and the gym makes you feel like you are getting more than what you pay for. Staff is incredible! Mckenzie is an absolute treasure. Great place for beginning or experienced gym goer's.

I really enjoy its gym it's open 24 hours a day and they really try to help and i highly recommend anybody to go with black card it is worth it

Five things.
Overpriced. Too much money for for the equipment.
Inability to cancel membership over the phone online or with a certified letter. All they want to do is steal your money, it doesn't matter if you're injured, unable to walk, move or had to move to another state. I had to fly in from Tennessee to cancel my membership. (only been in the gym one-time paid for two years because they refused to cancel and continue to drain my bank)
Hidden fees. After canceling my membership not only did I get feed something that I was not told about, I didn't even have the time to talk about my experience.
Unprofessional staff. didn't get a receipt or any sort of documentation, nor notification that I would be charged additional fees!!!
Go here if you want to throw money away.

I recently moved out of state so I called to get some info put on my acct and inquire about upgrading. McKenzie was SUPER helpful and walked me through the whole process, along with other updates on my acct! She stayed on the phone with me for almost 40 minutes helping me, while also being attentive to other members in front of her. Super grateful for her help! (This was on 1/26/20 around 11am-12pm PST).

Great place to workout. It's the basics that make me happy... Aquick and easy place to workout. I like to have a clean place, access 24 hours, cheap monthly fee, and there's someone there on site all the time, if I have any questions or problems... what more could you ask for!

Water pressure and temp not too good. Its almost same as pouring room temp water bottle on you for a shower seems. The total body fitness Beauty Angel didnt have good sound. All that comes from the speakers was bass and no treble. Clean place and night crew cleans nicely.

Affordable gym with a very impressive remodel. New stand up tanning, new water massage chairs, and more floor space for the new equipment added. Same low price!!! No brainer!!

My 16 year old daughter was charged $20 to exercise for an hour with her sister who has been a member for years. I feel like she was robbed.
I have been a member since this gym opened. When I spoke with the hostess, she said this is just how it is.

The sun glare reflecting off the cars in the parking lot is blinding and makes using the machines almost unbearable. I do not recommend this gym because of this reason.
Update : Cancelled my membership and joined a different gym.

My place to go for a workout the past three years. Clean, affordable. And you will not get bugged by anyone. Make sure you wipe the machines! You can get in your fit-zen place and burn those calories with weights, cardio machines, etc. Big space for everyone to find a spot during busy hours.

This is a good place for a workout. Membership is very inexpensive. You can get the membership that allows a guest with each visit so 2 can workout as cheap as one. There is a variety of equipment but weird marketing and odd sayings imprinted on the walls makes me look for another place.

We walked in ready to join as a family and were completely ignored. Finally a lady very nonchalantly walked up to us and asked very boredly, "Whats up?". We told her we wanted to join. She looked around really slowly and then just walked off (she looked drunk or high). She said something to another employee and he yelled over to us to go have a seat and someone will be with us shortly. There were 4 people exercising in there, and it looked like 4 employees. It was hard to tell because the employees weren't wearing anything that made it obvious they worked there, but they were behind the counter looking at a screen so I just assumed. We turned right around and walked out the door. Nobody tried to stop us. They just shrugged and went back to doing what they were doing. VERY poor customer service. Very low energy vibe in there, and the purple and yellow colors were atrocious. Very stoner-like feel to the place. It's a great location with lots of equipment, so it should be a gold mine, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone and I will never go back. We joined Crunch Fitness instead.

Keep in mind there is a one year contract with a penalty for early cancellation. Also there is a yearly "maintenance" fee of about $43. There is also a start up fee that depends on the package you get. It is less for the higher package. You take a picture and get a keychain tag. They check you in themselves.

Good monthly rates and convenient location with plenty of parking, lacking a star because it has poor ventilation. On hot summer days it get too hot to work out in this gym so I go to a different gym. Also , they stopped providing protective seat covers. :(

This by far has been the worst experience with a gym I have ever had. I signed up with a membership because it was such a good deal! They said that the membership was for 1 year and it would cancel out on its own if I did not renew it. That turned out to be a complete lie. The membership never cancelled and they continued to charge my bank account. When I called to cancel because I moved out of state and had no access to a planet fitness to even continue going they told me I had to send a cancellation form through certified mail and would not cancel until it had been received. All other businesses cancel out the memberships on spot and have you fill out a form for them either in person or through email. It is 2018 it should not be this hard to cancel a membership. I do not like that I was lied to and the fact that they continue to charge me when I do not use the membership. I will never step foot in another Planet Fitness again!

By far the worst gym chain on record. Besides the fact that they have candy sitting at the check out and give away free junk food as an incentive. But the woman who "sold" me on the membership said that their were kids zones. Which there isn't in Vancouver or Portland. They are advertising no commitment but then proceeded to tell me I have to pay a bit out of $60 or pay the $23 until Nov. Keep in mind. I have only been able to come once because my son isn't aloud.
Very disappointed.

I have been here a few times as a guest and I have no complaints. It has a typical gym feeling and it's not that working out here!

Don't expect to look around first before you join. Kristen who was very rude at the front desk wanted to schedule a tour. I asked if I could just look around really quick and she said no. I dont have time to schedule a tour. Looks like this gym at least lives up to its bad rating.

Stuff has different ways to explain their rules. They are not able too explain that kids can't be with mom inside and used just sofas to sit on them. Some guys allowed to be with kid. But ones I had accident with manager like we can't stay with kid inside of gym as before. So we left gym.

Equipment is okay, tanning beds okay not great. But there are other options Palm Beach tanning. There are also gyms galore to choose from. Seems like one pops up every year. Or just get your own equipment that's what we're doing. You can skip your bank account being dipped into and the corporate run around answers. The staff is nice at this location, it has gotten better.

I can't say anything bad about this gym as a 4 year member. The location is great and they have a huge variety of equipment to work with. The staff is polite most of them.

Planet fitness is one of the best gyms I have been too. I appreciate the diversity of crowd it brings it and makes everyone feel welcome. The equipment is well kept thanks to the awesome new manager they and the staff is always polite and friendly. It can get very busy and crowded at times, but so does every other gym during those hours. I recommend giving planet fitness a try and see if it a good fit for you!

I had received an email saying something was wrong with my payment plan so I went in and was going to hopefully get it fixed so I was able to workout after I fixed it. Well turns out that not one person there knew how to fix my payment plan, Apparently a manager wasn't there so I wasn't able to get it fixed. I work in customer care so I understand not being able to do certain things, but when someone is trying to get help, I try to help as much as I can and figure out what the issue is. Well I didn't have much luck because all they said was " I don't know what to do" and didn't look any further into it. I drove 20 minuets to go work out, and the only reason this bugged me so much was because no one actually attempted to help. Just gave up at the sight of seeing that my payment plan didn't go through.
Definitely think this is something employees should be trained to help with.

Everytime I come in this location on milplain they never have the right answers they talk to me like I'm dumb, when I started up they didn't even give us a walk through. Horrible customer service skills. Need better team players and management

I could care less of what people say negatively about this gym. I am not a hardcore lifter or trainee so I consider this place perfect for me. I have been at this place for at least 5 years now and don't really plan on ever going anywhere else. It is super cheap for what it is. Even more, it really is pretty much a judgement-free place. Although if we really knew what people were thinking and not saying, that might be a different story-lol

Great staff and an all-around great variety of execising options. The tanning beds are clean and they offer a good variety of post-workout relaxation options as well. I have always had good customer service there. I also like the unlimited guest pass with the black card membership. The price is right and the person you want to introduce to the club doesn't have an excuse not to go..... its free for them. I would recommend this club to anyone who wants to get started or has been doing it for a while and wants to have a good workout. It will provide both.
