Hands down, or downward dog down the best studio in Tacoma and beyond! Even when on vacation I have trouble finding studios that compare to TY. The teachers are incredibly knowledgeable and there's a great mix of flow, strength and variety that go beyond sun salutations. The staff are really warm and inviting and I always look forward to my time here.
Started coming here a couple months ago and I've really gotten a lot out of it. The studio is very flow centric yet there is a variety of teachers and styles. Its hard to feel like the classes are routine; they're always fresh. They welcome new students and I absolutely recommend them
I attended the intro to yoga. I highly reccomend the studio. Its the only time I have ever been in a yoga studio so i have nothing to compare it to but the instruction was excellent. facilities were great. They have clearly developed a great community. I will return.

Love tacOMa yoga! Shawnda is absolutely amazing. I've taken her Yin Yoga classes and they are life changing. So inspiring, motivating, and calming. You can feel her passion and love through her practice. You will leave her class feeling refreshed ane renewed.
A great community fills this studio. I have so many wonderful friends and moments of discovery with them. When it started about 3 years ago, it brought along many of the devotees of Amy Petty. Even when she later moved along, the quality of instruction was outstanding with Eva, Erynn and Rebeca as my favorites.
With new ownership as of December 2017, the dynamics are shifting. Teachers have left or been shifted down the schedule to times that are unavailable to me. The new owners favor a younger, more athletic style of yoga and more hip new teachers have been added.
Given this shift in focus, I have moved away from Tacoma Yoga and can't recommend it at this time. I would say two stars but Eva is worth one on her own so I'll give it 3.

This is a fantastic studio, with great teachers. It is relaxed, friendly, and inviting. The sessions can accommodate a variety of skill levels and the teachers are approachable and helpful.. Most notable is Leslie Whitecrow who brings strength, humor, and strong knowledge to the practice.
I've had chronic back pain since an injury from 2008. Through yoga, especially the Align classes, I've found so much relief. The instructors at Tacoma Yoga are world class and give solid instruction, having thorough knowledge of the body. Most of the instructors have advanced training above and beyond the industry standard. I recommend this studio to all my friends.

The teachers are amazing, the space is beautiful, and the community is awesome.
I'm felt really unwelcome In the studio and the floor wasn't super clean.
I have been practicing yoga for ten years and I can honestly say that Yoga Palace is my favorite studio by far. When I uprooted myself from the Bay Area this past September to help my parents, I came with absolutely nothing. So, the first thing I did was seek out a yoga studio. I was instantly welcomed not only by their amazing teachers but the students as well. Now I have a wonderful place to practice yoga and a warm community of friends.
Most amazing yoga studio. Truly talented and caring instructors. A beautiful place to practice. A community of yogis. Wonderful daily classes as well as workshops.
