Great friendly staff! Comfortable facility! Enjoy the RELAXED vibe. Not overcrowded like some other places!
Replied to the email address that the owners (who knows if that's true) posted in a response to a review at the North location. I have received no reply to that email nor follow up to the in person visit I had already had. This shouldn't surprise me because they didn't respond to or take care of needed equipment repairs that were reported multiple times at the location I use - both verbally and via the net.
This is my response to their non-response their requested response from my other review. Since I have been told that they "let things slip" at the other locations because they have been focused on the Valley location, as it is new, maybe they will notice this.
Pros: $19 a month, 5 squat racks, pool, hot tub, updated cardio equipment, classes, renovated men's locker room, women's area, tanning beds, nice staff (Donna the cleaning lady is super sweet) and there's always parking.
Cons: the sign on fee, there's only 3 squat racks right now because of renovations, the women's locker room is pretty dingy (there's no hand dryers and holes for where the two used to be there), AAU basketball goes on for months on the weekends each year so parking will be super crowded and kids running around and the equipment is generally older.
Still, I prefer it to the other gyms that try to charge you even though you want out of their membership or the one gym that kicks you out for grunting. That same gym has pizza on certain days.
I love coming into see Lauren in the Valley, she is so welcoming and always has motivation waiting for me when I arrive. I also really like how many cardio machines they have available on the floor. Every once in a while they are a bit busy in the winter time but I almost never have to wait for a machine. I love this gym!
The gym is so CLEAN! I love coming here. I asked the manager, Jared, to look into maybe getting a few different grip types for some machine and bench pressing work and he actually jumped right on it. There are now so many different grips I feel like a kid in the candy store.

I've never felt more comfortable in a gym then I have at The Spokane Fitness Center. They have a Women's Center that I started my fitness journey in and recently started working out in the larger weight room because my confidence has grown exponentially since working out here. I've also been working with their incredible trainer Jessica who truly changed my perspective on working out. I love taking the classes with the interactive trainers like Julie, Kris, and Rinzen. There is always something new to try and I love having CHOICES with my fitness journey. Please, if you want to try something that will change your perspective on training, set up an appointment with Jessica or try some classes. This place is incredible.

This club has everything that a person or family could be looking for. The staff is so friendly as soon as you walk in the door they immediately say hello and welcome you into the club. As far as the classes go I've taken everything from spinning to bodypump to yoga to round myself out for my fitness needs and every class offers incredible instructors who cater to the needs and abilities of everyone in the class. If that isn't enough to bring you in the price should be. I pay $29 a month to get tons of free classes, access to 2 full basketball courts, a weight room, and cardio floor. Did I mention I can get into both clubs with this monthly payment? I work up north and live in the Valley so I really have no excuses, but these guys really make everything thing easy. I'm really happy that I got a membership at a local club rather than the other larger clubs. This place is the real deal.

The price for a membership is ridiculously reasonable and affordable. The fitness center is just as great as the YMCA, but far less expensive. I also love that I can bring quests in so that I can enjoy working out with buddies, family, children and visiting friends. I recommend this gym for anyone looking for a good variety workout, for anyone who doesn't like crowds of people and having to awkwardly watch and wait for a machine because there aren't enough. And did I mention the price; super affordable. Thank you Spokane Fitness Center!

Nice, clean, and fun environment for those would like to work out.
Got a membership to have dance space, and was mocked every time I came in-- to the point where I stopped coming a month into my membership. I had to prepare the space myself, as they had NO available open area for dance-- which means I literally paid to move their equipment around before and after my practice. I continued paying for a membership I didn't use, and was refused the option to cancel by any method other than in person. In the end I paid almost $300 to dance 6 times, get bodyshamed, be unalloyed to leave my membership in a way that felt safe for me--- and they still want $50 some odd more dollars.
Get.

Try Muv, or give funds to an organization that supports people- such as the Y.
I cannot believe the first time I encountered real bodyshaming was at a gym, atrocious & unacceptable business practice & experience all around.
I'm so happy with this gym! They have everything you need, including a great variety of classes free with your membership, pool and sauna! The childcare team is amazing as well! And this gym is so affordable!
Solid gym. They have a little bit of everything. I like gyms that have basketball courts available. They have a few so you are able to play basketball or volleyball or anything else. Always clean. Parking is the reason for the 4 star. Tiny parking lot jammed between other businesses. Sometimes there is no place to park in the evenings and that makes it difficult to even get in. All the adjacent businesses have tow signs up if you park in there spots.
Best gym in the valley. 4 full size basketball courts. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

T.F.C. is a great workout facility! From their fitness classes offered to the racquetball courts, cardio equipment, and pool, this is a great facility with great prices for my wife and I. The parking lot can be a bit frustrating, especially with non-member basketball game spectators, fortunately for me I don't workout in the parking lot. This is overall a great facility.
I went to the Valley Fitness Center with a church group including family members last Saturday night. We rented the gym and spent our time primarily playing basketball and volleyball for 2 hours; the gym had great space for everyone to enjoy sideline activities also. (Plenty of small children on hand. :) ) Their volleyball net was very well preserved and easy to assemble; the basketball hoops were in great condition and very durable against the 20+ hard core players that hanged and slammed on them. Relaxing ambiance walking in the front door with all the exercise equipment made for a wonderful experience.
S.F.C. Is a great family environment with room for everyone. racquet ball basket ball wights and aerobic machines. The pool is great too. My wife loves the private women's work out room. All of this for a great price.
After enjoying the services of this gym for the 12month contract we had signed they continue to charge me monthly even though I have already paid for the initially agreed upon 12 months, and followed their cancellation protocol of providing written notice of cancellation 1 month in advance.
This is poor business practice, in fact robbery. I would not recommend doing business with this company.
The workout area where the machines are is really nice but I went swimming in the pool. It is DISGUSTING! The bottom of the pool is all stained and brown. There is rust and calcium build up all the way around the pool that looks like it has not been cleaned in years. I decided to swim anyway and when I got in there was a gross odor in the water that even the chlorine smell could not cover and stuff floating in it. I seriously felt like I could catch something from this pool. I will NEVER be back to this gym. For as much as they charge for membership fees you would think they could spring a little money to clean the pool properly. If it stinks, it is NOT clean! The locker rooms and showers weren't great either.
