Giving this a 2. Love the place love the equipment. However I don't like the fact that you can only make your payment through a "local" bank. I made a payment with a preloaded card while I tried to get a bank account together and they refused it. Which in turn gave me a late fee. I think it's wrong when any company refuses any type of payment. As long as it's being paid that should be what matters!

This truly is a no judgement zone. My husband and I have had memberships to other gyms and stopped going after a short while. The people make all the difference. We truly enjoy the 30 minute circuit because of the other "regulars" that we have become friends with. This is a great place to let go of your fears and do what you need to do for yourself.

I joined in January of 2018. The price is wonderful, most of the staff are friendly. I love that I can work out, tan and use the massage chairs for under $25 per month. The only dislike I have is that I had an issue cancelling an online payment that was posted for a future date. The manager advised they have no phone number to call to correct and no one in the gym has access. So you are out of luck with any billing assistance just be warned ahead of time.

I came in from out of town to discover I left my barcode at home, we couldn't get my home gym on the phone to verify membership and inspite of it all the dude let me workout.
Quit atmosphere and wasn't all that crowded around 10a.

Good atmosphere. Clean and well kept gym. Employees are always friendly as come and go. TVs across entire cardio section. They have machines for every body part. There free weights are limited to a maximum of 75 lbs. They have no bench press benches with barbells(flat, incline, or decline) you either you a smith machine, press machine, or free weights on there adjustable benches. The bathrooms are clean and provide lockers and showers. Wi-fi is strong and handles my streaming videos. The price is the best $10. You can go $20 for exrra perks like being anyone with you, tanning, and water massage bed and chair. I only gave them 4 stars because the free weight selection is 75lb max, no bench press w/ barbells, and the one thing that drives me CRAZY no scales in the building.

I really enjoy going through to planet fitness. I used to go to muv and even with a discount I was still paying up to thirty bucks a month. At planet fitness I have the upgraded plan for only twenty bucks and with that you have free tanning and these massage beds which are crazy awesome. The machines are good and well maintained but they have no free weights which I would say is the biggest flaw planet fitness has. There isn't a judgy crowd here and literally all body types here. The facilities are nice and they have a private changing area for those who want to change in peace. I would recommend this place.

I just signed up for $21.99 per month, I was so excited because I could take my mom with me to enjoy exercise. Today it was the first time we went, but it was an awful experience. After we finished our exercise, I wanted my mom to get some relax, so I went to sign for massage hair and Hydro massage bed. However I was told only the member can use them, guest my mom couldn't, I was so upset. And then, I was shock!!!! One employee name SARAH said if she saw my mom use the massage equipment, she would DRAG HER OUT. Unbelievable I heard that. I think she has racial discrimination to our Asian people. What kind of customer service did we get? SARAH is a ridiculous RUDE employee I ever met. I promised I was told that my guest can use all equipment include the massage chair when I signed up the membership. I really feel uncomfortable going there anymore, I think I have to cancel the membership. Please read the contract detail carefully before you sign up. They hide some rules!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great place to work out, and there is no pressure from anywhere to perform better, either. And being 24 hours, means I can go even in the dead of night! Great place.

I went in to use my free day pass this morning and try out the facility before I decide to buy or not buy a one year membership. This location is close to my work and would be the perfect option for me to get in a good workout before work. Upon arriving, they guy at the counter scans my day pass and says, "you're good". I have never been here before, and it said on their website that the day pass comes with a required tour - which would be helpful since I know nothing about the place. I asked about said tour and he looked at the other employee behind him and asked her if she wanted to do it and she flat out told him no. So the guy was dragging his feet and clearly did not want to give a potential new member a tour. Then he saw another employee coming in for work and he said, "Jakes here now, we can make him do it." Obviously this "tour" is way more inconvenient than I ever thought it would be and how dare I ask for one. So they tell Jake that he has a tour to do when he walks in the door and I wait a few minutes for Jake to go put away his belongings and I assume clock in. Jake was friendly and did a great job and is honestly the reason I gave more than one star. Those 2 employees made me feel so unwelcome that I just want to give up on finding a gym to use before work. If it wasn't for them I think I would enjoy the place - it has everything I want but friendly employees.

The no judgement rule is getting ridiculous! Please enforce the dress code and please enforce cleaning the machines after use!!!
Tons of machines. Tons of space.
Has a great ab area and nice looking locker room. The hydro bed is only good for slight sore back mucsles. I'm to short for the massage chairs so it actually doesn't help much.

Do not sign up here unless you could care less about customer service and money. Worst management ever. Basically does not exist. We had a situation where my wife was injured and could not use her membership any longer after signing up only 4 weeks prior. After being charged an annual fee, two monthly fees and a cancel charge it was a complete waste of time and money. She was only able to use the gym twice. When asked to speak with a manager about getting some kind of break of any kind on 5 different occasions and told he will call you back we finally called customer care. We were told again someone would call us back and each time reminded of no chance of getting out of the cancel fee or annual charge after just one month. They said it was a waste of time to try. In other words they said they really don't care about their members no matter the circumstance if you tried to cancel. Don't be fooled by their so called no obligation promotions and read the fine print. Don't waste your time here and don't plan on getting to speak with a manager about anything unless you want to pay them money. Then I am sure the great and powerful OZ will pop out from behind the desk. Still no call back from the manager or anyone else. Read a few other reviews with the same issues. Go to MUV fitness. Just slightly higher price but no hidden fees and no deception. They take care of their members and are obviously more in tune to customer service. I guess we should have read reviews before signing up. Jeez Planet Fitness, I hope your extra 60 bucks was worth it I wonder how many people will read this and think twice.

After touring all the fitness centers in the Spokane Valley I final decided to join Planet Fitness. I really liked the looks, staff and the lay out and then I find out the only way to join is using a bank draft every month and I wanted to pay in full for a year with cash or certified check and they said that can't be done I guess cash no good anymore. #THEIR LOSS

Pretty solid gym for the price and expectation! My only wish is that it had barbells for squatting, cleaning, etc instead of the guided barbells. Nice staff and nice environment!

The staff is friendly and they genuinely care about you and your goals. No one judges you no matter how big or small you are and what you're trying to achieve. I love the unlimited guest pass with the black card and the massage benefits as well! The hydro massage beds are life!

Long story short I ask to speak to a manager about 8 months ago. Here I am waiting for the call. I'm still being charged a monthly charge. Today i get charged double. I call ask for a manager. No manager available. I ask for district manager number, I'm sorry i can't do that. I tell them i want my account cancelled they say you must come in our certified mail. One guy actually threatened violence over the phone towards myself. That was about 8 months ago. All I want is for this account to be closed.
Now this from the owner???? Lol. I talked to the general manager of the club this Saturday 2/3/2018. Not only did he tell me that I was lying about being threatened, he then asked where I work. I could only assume that he would ask that question so he could make my work life difficult also. But in the same breath he did say the above is why they are under new management. I asked for a call from the district manager and still no word from that person.

Great prices friendly staff. If you're looking for a great gym to get back into working out I recommend this place. Sometimes it gets busy but unlike many places there is more than enough equipment on a typical day to go around

Clean and cheap. No pool. No hot tub. No kettle bells. Staff is awesome but the whole "no judgment zone" gets ridiculous with the pizza night and bagel mornings. It's almost like they're trying to keep you fat so that you never get better and always need them, lol. This is why I call them "planet fatness". On the other hand, the price is right and that goes far with me. ;)

I like this gym. Absolutely no pressure from the employees to upgrade or buy stuff. I really like the 30 minute circuit, it really helps since I don't really know what I'm doing. There's tons of cardio machines and a decent amount of weight machines. Plus the walls are covered in non- cheesy motivational sayings. Locker rooms are nicely kept too. I do wish they had a scale and a large digital clock, but those are my only complaints.

As far as gyms go, I love this one. The staff isn't pushy, and 90% of the other patrons are just there to work out. As always, there's those that don't clean the machines after they use them, but I've honestly seen far fewer that don't than that do. Which is nice. I've only tried one class, and that was last year, but the trainer was nice. I've heard the new one is tough, but good.
I like the pricing set up, as it's less 'GIVE UP YOUR MONEY!' and more 'We want you to use the space.'
24 hours is always nice, in case you feel up to a midnight visit.
The gym always feels clean, although I haven't checked the mens rooms, for obvious reasons.

This location is awesome! the staff is fantastic and im slowly but surely meeting more and learning more names!! my experience is always fantastic, everything is always clean and neat, great facility! Zeke is a homie, see him grinding daily and kicking ass as well my 3 favorite counter ladies props to them! thank you Sarah, Candace and the girl whos name i forgot and i know im going to hell but she always checks me in when i pull in the parking lot cause she k ows my keys are lost somewhere in my giant gym bag so thank you guys! you guys are the best!

Clean and well appointed facility. Plenty of machines and free weights. Don't expect a hot shower or soap provided.
