Starts all down hill and switch backs so be prepared for a work out on the way back up.
Hiking area is do able some sketchy spots so don't fall off the cliff otherwise like beginner stuff.
Beautiful view! The parking lot is full of potholes. Beware of that.
I do love the Bluff! Just down the street, I can hop on a trail and get a good 10 mile mountain bike ride right in the city.
Haven't been in Spokane very long, but this is one of my favorite places to hike around town. Be warned though, the parking lot is full of potholes and the entrance to the lot has one that will take you by surprise and possibly mess your car up, judging by the loud noise. Be careful, but you should totally go!
Good spot to relax
Nice views....cool hikes.

Several times per year I travel to the area and one of my favorite places to trail run and hike is the Bluff. Usually everyone is friendly and respectful. Today while on the trail an adolecent lab came running up off lead... Owner nowhere in site. Dog starts to come at me and my dog more aggresively at which point I shoo him away firmly yelling and pushing him off when he tried to jump on my dog. The second time the dog come back more agressively and he comes his owner... Jogging along on his cell phone not paying any attention to his dog. When he is finally close enough he can hear me yelling and see his dog confronting us I yelled to please call him and that I have a stun gun if the dog comes at us again. This trail is VERY steep and so dogs even playing on the trail is dangerous. Owner decides to tell me I have no business on this trail and to go to a dog park (my well trained and completely under control dog still on leash) he then proceeds to take our picture which I would love to see as it shows us on and upper trail, dog on lead and in no way threatening. The reason I type this whole thing out is so hopefully people will read and be more respectful as well as be cautious coming around blind corners as the joggers and bikers believe they own these trails.

Suuuuuuper pretty. I enjoyed my walk around this area and I loved the beautiful rainbow I got to see. Go to this place on rainy days that has the sun shining in the sky so that you can see the rainbow.

Great views
My favorite part of Spokane. A great place not to build condos.

It is clean and nice there are a couple of spots where homeless people stay but it has never been a problem. The only part I would warn you about is it is a lot of down hill Wich means on the way back it's mostly uphill.
