I have gone to Bella Cova a few times when it was at it first location and was unimpressed by the customer service and classes offered. I thought it was me since the gal who owned Bella Cova was busy working on her computer and didn't pay close attention to me when I was asking her questions.

The Stork's Cafe was a joke as it didn't have any food supplies in stock to make the sandwiches we requested. So, I settled for a yummy latte from the lady who owned the espresso stand in the store.

It had been some time, over a year since we visited Bella Cova. I only visited again because I was researching parenting support groups and play groups through Bloom Spokane. I found out they moved their location and I figured I would give it another shot.

I went to the new location on 9th on Thursday at 10 for Mindful Mamas and no one was there, the leader didn't even show up! We waited until 11 in the studio playing with the toys. A few times we went into the main store and the owner was working on her computer again. She didn't look up and didn't pay us much attention until we asked about the shoes. She perked up a little, told us she would give us a 15% discount if we wanted to buy a pair today and then she went back to her computer. I asked her about the group and she said, "Oh..no one is down there?" I figured if Bella Cova hosted these meetings, shouldn't she know when people or even the leader doesn't show? We left at 11, pretty disappointed by the customer service and lack of initiative from the owner. She could have called the leader to ask what was going on, class cancellation, etc.

We went back on Friday, the next day for the Attachment Parenting Village Group at 10-12. Bella Cova opens at 10a. We got there around 10:15. No one was around and the door was locked. We waited for another 10 minutes and no one came. Again, great disappointment.

Unfortunately, Spokane doesn't have much to offer when it comes to Parenting Groups and community like minded parenting venues and I thought Bella Cova could help to change this.

I will not visit this place again as now I have heard from others they have had the same experience.
