I joined up here a few weeks back around the first of the year as a bargain with my partner to get her into a routine. We stopped in one evening and met the business owner , Bull Stewart. At first we went with a punch card instead of signing a contract, but after two days attending we switched to a monthly contract.
Bull and his staff are really awesome. Super kind, outgoing and lots of laughs and stories to share with anyone with a few minutes to sit down and hang for a sec.
Not to mention the staff has all been doing this industry work for years, and Bull is a world champion powerlifter and Olympic trainer! No joke! But me and my partner train with his son Hikeem - super cool and really pushing us to our limits .
That said, it's also just a regular neighborhood gym, completely unpretentious and has everything you'll need for any skill level. Most people I see here are just doing their thing, minding own business etc.
Not to mention this is also a black owned business in the CD. As the neighborhood changes as the years go by, it's good to see this gym thriving. Give back to the community and work out locally. Cheers.
