Lovely place and great staff.
I took a noon class, fundamentals with Kathryne Bouchard. Such a beautiful flow. Challenging but gentle. It didn't feel like I was working hard, more like traveling/exploring in my body. Abs were very sore next day lol. I recommend! Thank you Seattle Arts.

I was devastated when my beloved "yoga home", Sutra in Wallingford, closed its doors a few years ago. Began my search and upon a friend's recommendation took a couple of classes at SYA. Well.....the rest as they say is history. Beautiful space, warm and welcoming staff and teachers who really know their stuff, innovative and supportive styles of classes for all levels/moods, and a lovely and diverse community.

I loved this clean, airy studio --- very friendly staff, great location and talented instructor. Very relaxed and low-key ambience, no sales pressure and a diverse array of classes. A sweet experience, thanks!

I have been a student since 2002. There is no other studio I've been so at home in.
The fact that this is one of the oldest yoga studios in the city should tell you something about it's great reputation. But I really appreciate it for an additional reason; they have built a community of people who get to know one another, and regularly supports social causes ranging from animal protection to international development. A great place to build the body as well as the soul...

Seattle Yoga Arts offers the very best quality yoga teaching in the Anusara tradition. The teachers go through extensive training and really TEACH you not just lead exercise. They usually offer good introductory options like a 5-class card. Check them out.
