Great studio, amazing support for parents with little ones.
the teachers are wonderful!
Feels like a piece of Bellingham in Seattle. The people are compassionate, friendly, and community focused. It's yoga with emphasis on fitness and rejuvenation. There's no competitive nature, just people coming together to better themselves. They also have a not-hot yoga class so it's very beginner friendly. With 4 types of classes, there's a yoga for whatever mood you're in. Vinyasa, hot vinyasa, hot hatha, and yin.

Poor customer service! I purchased my first class pass here, and they didn't tell me it had an expiration date. Even when they updated me *every time* I checked in how many classes I had left, they didn't once mention it would expire. They finally told me - after I walked in, ready for class after a stressful day - that I could either could pay more for a drop in or buy *another* class pass. I explained this to one of the instructors and one of the owners, and requested an extension on my pass or refund for the unused classes. They refused. The classes seem reasonably priced, but they aren't if you can't use half of them!

Well-taught and welcoming classes with hot and non-hot yoga options in a nice homey space. The teachers also lead community yoga at Gas Works Park in the summer!

Commercial yoga. No demos, hand clapping like in a circus show. She almost rapped her instructions. Might be great for fitness people, but I can't recommend this to people who want to do real yoga. Clean, nice showers and almost friendly staff, though.

This review is personal.
I used to be a yoga teacher in this space when the studio was transitioning to the new "co-operative" space. During that transition, I felt discriminated against for being a gay person of color, and shut down when I called out that I was being excluded by white girls. A very privileged white woman who is a co-owner of the studio who is over twice my age felt that it was appropriate to yell in my face that she was smarter than me and better than me. I was told not to come back for a month, and that I had to work to gain their trust back if I was going to return, so I decided to leave this studio and stop teaching yoga altogether because of white toxicity, the hypocrisy of prioritizing ego and power over compassion, and the manipulation and lack of respect I was being given as a human being during that time. I am writing this here not to lash out of ill will towards anyone or to stop anyone from practicing, but to encourage current and prospective students to own their self in this space and to work to make the space inclusive for everyone. I also acknowledge that things could have changed since I left this space over a year and a half ago. I am posting this as a personal step to not be afraid to speak out or allow myself to be silenced by anyone's discomfort, and I encourage you to do the same.
Next class you take here, look at the room around you and notice who is not included.
Wonderful, affordable community yoga.
The teachers are very seasoned and really put a lot of mindfulness into their instruction and I have great appreciation for all of their beautiful beautiful energy!
Love the interior and great pricing and great people
