They have very nice coaches and they are very passionate about rowing. Also, it is conveniently located on the Union Bay between Lake Union and Lake Washington. So, we have two large bodies of water we can go to for practice.
My son just started rowing with their middle school non-competitive program. The center is very organized, has beautiful facilities. The children all seem to be inclusive and welcoming. The coaches are encouraging and accessible. We really like this organization.
Chase boats drive too fast under the University bridge and had a near miss with a swimmer. this is not a race track and we do not appreciate the boats ripping through under the bridge near the marina! There is no reason for to go through there considering the row boats cant fit! Keep doing it and we are going to sue your club for damages!! your boat operators move too fast through this portion and we are absolutely not tolerating it anymore!!!!!
My son loves coming here for scrimmages. A beautiful place to walk and row !
Great rowing club. Excellent equipment, including a fleet of new Hudson singles, that gets refreshed regularly. Really good coaching. A variety of programs from learn to row, recreational sweep, intermediate sculling to competitive sweep and sculling teams. More rack space than any other club. And an ideal location for getting to good water given different conditions. No more expensive, and in some cases less, than other clubs. Recommended.

SRA is better
An excellent organization for those new to rowing or experienced. They have great youth program and Masters programs.

I am not a pocock customer, but they are forcing me to have interactions with them. The entitlement of the pocock staff and members is truly mind boggling. Pocock 'shares' a parking lot with other businesses in Eastlake.
This morning they left their truck and trailer parked in a travel lane, with no staff around, blocking in other business' customers for at least 25 minutes. Their members frequently overflow their designated parking and take spots reserved for surrounding businesses. Their staff is rude and dismissive when this is pointed out to them.
I hope the experience of pocock members is better than how they treat the rest of the community.
Welcoming and friendly place for beginners and experts alike.
Rowing is a 365 day sport in Seattle!
Nice instructors will help you get confident in racing singles, paid, doubles, fours, quads, eights, and training singles for beginners.
This place has amazing coaches for teens, adults, and for us older rowers.
The PRC is a wonderful community boathouse. The boathouse has many programs for all levels of rowers, as well as a fitness area available to non-rowing athletes as well. If your interested in learning or continuing to row, or even just learning more about the history of rowing in the Pacific Northwest and Seattle, PRC is a great resource.
Awesome club! Really friendly people and great equipment.
Great rowing center. Very fun!
