why I couldn't I get a pass? was it because of my skin color? or because I wouldn't get a gym membership the same day I came? the employee tried to pressure me to join and wouldn't even let me exercise after bringing a pass for 21 days that I got from a friend I feel really discriminated against because I know the employee was lying through his teeth telling me my I'd didn't have a close enough address after telling him I just moved from out of town and my friend doesn't live in the area or have a I'd even close but hey I guessing my skin color wasn't wanted at the establishment

I can't recommend Ian Fitness enough. They are supportive and non-judgemental. The owner and staff are dedicated and passionate people. If you need a place that will stand beside you on your quest to make healthier choices in life, this is the place to go.

After just having had a baby these bootcamps gave me amazing and fast results! The trainers are awesome and very involved- they won't let you fail! I would highly recommend both bootcamps and personal training! Cap hill m/w/f 6:15am is a fun energetic class!

This is probably the best fitness regimen I've started. I started in January as part of a New Year resolution like probably half of America but it's been three months and I LOVE it. The workouts are a perfect balance of challenging but not intimidating so everyday I feel like I get a great workout and I'm pushing myself. Plus the 6:15 class is perfect for my schedule, it's a great way to start the day and I'm seeing much better results than I've seen with anything else. Also, the instructors are awesome; John's the man and he keeps the classes funny and entertaining!

I have been going to Ian Fitness in Capitol Hill 3 times per week since last summer. I love the 6:15am class on M/W/F. It is the perfect start to my day and I love being able to walk to and from class. The instructor, John, is awesome and very knowledgable and he adds just the perfect amount of humor to the mix to keep us wanting to show up that early in the morning! I wish the space was a little larger, but other than that I love going to class. Highly recommend!

I really like the 6:15 am classes with John. (In fact, we've dubbed this place John Fitness since we aren't sure Ian is a real person.) The space is small but the workout gets me sweaty and i'm addicted. So far to date I've attended 183 classes. I guess I'm rather fond of it. 5 stars to you, John Fitness!

Making the decision to start training at IanFitness is probably one of the best choices I've ever made in my life! No joke.
I was pretty athletic while I was in school, but since I started my 9-5pm gig at the office several years ago, my life became pretty sedentary, and with all the late night eating and happy hours stacked on top - well, my lifestyle became less than ideal.
But ever since I made the commitment to myself to do something about it, by picking up the phone to call Ian after reading so many fabulous reviews online, I seriously haven't looked back since!
My main trainer, Justin is seriously the best - he makes each session totally unique, different and fun, customized specifically to what I need - so it keeps me guessing so I'm never like, "oh this again...". Be prepared to get your butt kicked though - he works you HARD and will constantly push you to your limits (just do one more!!!) - but I will guarantee you will see results! He is super motivating, and even when I'm dying from a set of workout, we always end up laughing about it in the end. His motivation doesn't stop there - I've personally struggled with eating clean, and knowing that, Justin will send me a friendly text in the middle of the day to remind and encourage me to make the right decisions, which has been so helpful in trying to stay on track. He seriously cares about each and every single client, and that's what makes him stand out from the rest! One downfall is that he has a pretty packed schedule already, and sometimes you have to book in advance, but he has been super flexible and will work with you to get you in, reschedule if you can't make it, etc.
Overall, the whole IanFitness team is so incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and gets 2 thumbs up!
