When I joined KMS I would have never imaged the amazing community I was going to become a part of. I only have positive things to say about KMS and their members, and I will classify them into two major points.
The instructors: I've had the opportunity to be coached by most of the instructors, and all I can say is that they are true badasses. They are super skilled and they teach each class with lots of passion and dedication. They are very respectful and approachable, and are always willing to help you learn and reach your goals. As long as you are willing to learn, the instructors will work with you and see you progress throughout your Krav career.
The community: KMS is not simply a self-defense school, they are also a super friendly, close-knit group of people from different backgrounds willing to help each other. I have always felt comfortable, and have had lots of fun interacting with all the other members. The staff has focused a lot on creating a safe and friendly environment for everyone that promotes discipline, hard work, and respect. Besides this, KMS is also very engaged with the community organizing different events throughout the year to help charities like raising funds for particular organizations during Pride month or food drives which reflects the values that are a fundamental part of KMS.
I have been taking different classes for a year now, and I have never felt more fit and confident. I am a proud KMS member and my only regret is not having started earlier!
If you want to learn new skills, develop a deep sense of self-discipline and hard work, while improving your fitness and having fun, Krav Maga Seattle is the place for you!
